pick order in ranked is not by an means an ideal way to go about it. i recently wanted to play a ranked because i was tired of autolockers and people who are unable to comply or reason with you on your role to the team, or they just outright ignore you. ranked is where i go to play a match without "new" meta's being "discovered", or people who die 2 times in the first 10min and dc. there's needs to be more substance when creating your team for ranked.

I was certainly expecting more from the new champ select. It's worse than before. That's all there is to it. The ONLY, SLIGHTLY positive change was you can pick 2 roles and expect to get one of them so people aren't horrible about "I'm playing mid, fuq u guyz". It still exists, but it's not as bad. Almost everything else stayed the same or got worse. And I literally don't have the patience to list everything wrong with it out and objectively identify the flaws. Some people are starting to do this and you're touching on that but I just don't have the will when I know RIOT absolutely won't change what they've done. They'll fix the bugs, and we'll be stuck with the system.
the new systems good but they should have at least had it sorted for the new season rather then change it half way through. but i do concur with what you said about the system never changing, riot will improve what they see and less of what we ask for in my opinion. given the task at hand is a difficult one, good thing its not an important multi-million dollar company or anything.
