I have recently gotten back into League after not playing for over a year. What got me back in was an email I received from Riot saying that I had a 7 game chat restriction due to inappropriate behavior, or something to that effect. Well, I was a bit confused so I immediately opened League, and after waiting a very long time for all the updates, I logged into my account, to find that someone had played about 5 games on my account. Also when I logged in, there was a pop-up telling me about the chat restriction and it showed the chat from the game that was inappropriate and it was indeed someone being a troll on my account. I didn't really know how to handle hacking so all I did was change my password and endure the chat restriction. But now after every game I play I see this on the after-game screen. I thought it would go away after a while but it's still there and it's really beginning to bother me, now that I've officially decided to really get back into playing. Does anyone know when this will go away or if there is anything I can do since my account had been hacked?

Riot won't remove the chat restriction penalties so you'll have to work off the ineligibility it caused (which you can read more about here). Basically, just keep playing games and stay positive; if you are showing negative behavior it could take longer to lift.

I suggest visiting the below articles for information on keeping your account safe and what to do if your account is compromised. You should probably submit a Support Ticket and let them know the period that someone else was on your account so it doesn't come back to bite you in the ass later.
