I was queued up for ranked and right when it was time to ban champions the lobby closed and I was penalized for leaving too many ranked lobbies?? I never pressed a single button on the client or on my keyboard and I'm penalized for something I didn't do. Anyone else experience this same problem?

Silent Gravity1 votesI was kicked out of a game when I failed to lock in a ban once, so I assumed that you always had to lock a ban in, or lock in the no-ban option to not get kicked.

You can select to ban no one, but you have to lock it in. Maybe at 1 second you tried but you lagged a little and it happened. Always do it early. BUT AGAIN, WRONG SECTION.

Yes you do. If you don't choose a ban you will be kicked from the lobby.

He might be saying that you don't have to actually ban a champ. You can choose the "None" option but you have to lock in "None".

correct. But maybe he assumed that leaving the ban "blank" meant "None". Honestly I think they should make it so that if you don't ban anything...it auto chooses none. There have been times where I get autofilled, and I don't have a clear idea of what I am going to play and who I don't want to go against. So it takes me a bit. I would love that if I couldn't think of something to choose, AS WELL AS keep an eye on what my team hovered and whatnot, that it would just select none instead of it considering it a dodge.
I had this EXACT thing happen during a series promo. I got autofilled to support. I wanted to play Brand, but the ADC wanted a better engage champ like Leona...so then I had to quick try and think of who countered Leona hard and by the time I was figuring out all this, the banning phase ended, and I lost one of my series promo games due to it because I didn't lock in a ban.
Sucked.
