mute notification

[sona-playing] this is probably just gonna be ignored or sink into all the forum posts, but yeah as the titel sais

the league client should have a notification when someone mutes you ingame,

the reason i think this should be added is because when you have someone on your team that clearly had a bad day and just wanna flame the shit out of you the whole game instead of playing,

this notification would most likely/hopefully make the person just stop bothering typing and maybe start playing the game,

it haven't happend in a while, but when someone starts flaming you and you clearly tell them you going to mute them or say you have muted them, they will keep stop walking from time to time just to continue typing to you,

like they think you haven't muted them, but the reason i know the guy keeps typing is because last time it happend i played with a premade and he saw the flamer continue typing for 20 mins after i muted, and i have seen this happend ALOT!, some people just can't stop typing when they starting, and i think maybe it would help if the game had a text in the chat that mention your summoner name and who you mute when you do it, but only once so people dont troll and turn it on and off just to troll people, and it should do the same if you mute pings or /muteall,

but the text could tell they unmute you 5 minutes later if the changed their mind

its a small detail but it could help in some games, if someone is starting to flame because you did 1 simple mistake, you can pretty much say ''you know what mate, im not gonna lissen to your shit so i will mute you, keep playing'' and then the text summoner (mrplayer) have now muted summoner (mrflame) will appear in the chat with red text or something,

That's a terrible idea. If you want to mute, just mute. Why do the people you mute need to know? They will just get more annoyed. You know what happened when people can't get your attention via chat...? They will start to gameplay troll to get your attention.

No, no, a thousand times no. Ignorance is bliss, and a ragey 14-year old doesn't need to know that I muted his ass. There can be no good outcome from that.

Or it would even more likely backfire. Person is too tilted and now KNOWS he's been muted. They act even more irrational and starts inting/afking. Same thing players did when they were perma-muted back when it was a thing.
