I am really worried

I think I just que'd up with boosters. And I am incredibly worried about it. I have been in a ranked MMR plummit lately and I often looked for people on LFDuoQ sites like duoq.net, and LolDuo, also Reddit from time to time. These sites to my knowledge are harmless and free so I don't pay no mind to the people I've met and I often meet people I really like and keep friendships going with. Unfortunately this time I think I played a few games with a booster because after about 5 to 6 games he started inviting random people and at one point he even said "Waiting on another booster" I quickly left and have no intention on playing anymore games with them.

But I just don't want to get punished for this. In the past I was flagged for sharing my acc with friends and ever since I have been incredibly cautious to never share my account. My account is very valuable to me and this season I have made a huge effort to climb my way out of bronze and to Gold 5. Playing tons of Vi and Shyvana jungle. Lately I have been filling/supporting in hopes to just win games to climb back up.

I spent some time reading lots of stuff on the internet in regards to the ToS of boosting and Duoing with people of high MMR. My issue is I read that if you are suspected to be associated with an account that is being boosted you too are at risk of getting banned. I did not add these people nor do I plan to and nor do I plan to play anymore games with them, it is not my intention to associate myself with boosters and it is definitely not my intention to be boosted!

I did suspect that the people/persons were of higher MMR due to some of the games we won, but I didn't think they'd be boosting accounts. I know smurfing is often a thing and many of my friends smurf from time to time, but by no means does anyone I know boost anyone!

If it is possible to shed some more light on the situation that would be awesome...

I am seriously just really cautious of what happens to my league account and do not wish to by punished for getting myself in a situation I was unaware of.

Thank you!

I also apologize if this is not the place for this post!

being boosted by a smurf is not against the rules. "sadly" the only time your account is at risk is if someone else is playing on it
