Permanantly Banned

I was in queue and was assigned top. Someone dodged and the next game I get auto filled Bottom. I say that I am trash ADC and I might not do well. So a player on our team locks in Ashe and says "You're my Support now." I told her I was not going Support and I was going the role assigned. Once in the game continues to tell us to shut up and call us derogatory names. When in all chat I say Ashe was being toxic she flips out. She starts harassing me and Diana. We plan on reporting her but she retaliates and reports me. I didn't say a single curse word and I tried to play as Ashe went AFK and I had to fight Bot alone. But at the end of the game she reports me because I was "trolling" by going ADC (My role assigned). Shortly after I was treated with a nice permaban. Chat logs below:

First line is punishable. Not a good start. No need to as for reports. 1 report flags the game same as 9.

take advice from guy above he may be bronze1 and unskilled but he is a great summoner that will never get banned :) ( sry for th harassing but i dont think calling smbd unskilled/bad should be considered toxic so i will continue to do so )

Saying I am unskilled is accurate. However there is no need to call anyone unskilled or bad in game. Keep in mind that with how MMR and Elo work you are being matched with people of your own skill level(unless duo queue). So if your calling them bad or unskilled.......you might want to look in a mirror.

Now on the boards it is a little bit different. I don't personally care if people call me bad. I know I deserve to be in cardboard 7. However skill level with the game doesn't relate to being a good or bad person. Nor does it affect the validity of a well thought out post. And as such has no place on the forums either.

personally i think eveyrbody shouldnt care about "toxicity" in their games most of it is just people that care about winning i understand there are rules but they arre too strict, league is the only place on earth you can get banned for calling smbd bad , typing their score , etc. Is this behaviour necessary ? of course it isnt but its better to type few mean things in chat and continue to play that to just int and afk and as we know its a posibility of avoiding the ban while ruining game even more

One bad action doesn't excuse another. Both should be punished as both ruin games. They are mutually exclusive.

Just because someone says "your bad" doesn't mean they will INT/AFK. And just because someone INT/AFKS doesn't mean they are toxic in chat.

and as we know its a posibility of avoiding the ban while ruining game even more

This is why they moved to the 4 tier system instead of having basically perma chat restrictions.

meanwhile we are in the situation where i can int for 21 games straight ( was a thread onn boards with guy who was int feeding exactly 21 games in a row without ban ) but when i say " fuck you man leave me my farm " to trolling support ill get banned/chat restricted. Also reporting system does not take in consideration that most bans are based on performance, yea system will find smth toxic but its mostly because smbd did not like how someone acted. If you read carefully threads on board yea there is toxicity but mostly its just tilted guys that said smth like " you're bad stop fucking talking " and got banned for it , its hilarious and everybody who support this system like it is now ( not talking about the whole idea of banning toxicity ) is imo kinda blind

Some behaviors are a lot harder to track/prove. It doesn't mean they won't get banned. It is just might take longer as it is far more subjective then a clear cut chat log.

Most are actually far worse then this. I spend a lot of time on PB&M.

me too lately , i even posted a thread with my chat logs , i understand your point actully everybodys point that toxicity should be banned , but i will never agree that quote " useless mid " ( thats what imo was most toxic in my chat logs ) deserves 14 days ban. Sry i live in a real world i go to work university , this is actually nothing and league pretends to be a kindergarten . Same with curses in my earlier restriction i did nothing just curse ( towards myself ) i asked riot support what did actually do wrong becaus eas far as i know cursing may not be nice but it was towards me and my friend not anybody. She responded that it IS bannable because its a negative behaviour, cmon man its obvious i was reported because i performed badly and nobody felt offended that i said "fuck you man " to my firend who i was premade with its just system does not care , on my server i can bet 100$ that there are at least 2 reports per game in low elo , and you get punished for actually trying to communicate sometimes because your words triggered the system even tho there was nothing negative behind it. Btw my convo with riot support was so hilarious they tried for 4 emails to prove to me that smth is negative when it actually wasnt and then a girl just lost it and said " restrictions are not reverseable so i will flag your ticket as "done" ".

Even if you are right and above 50% are extremely toxic ( death threats hate speech etc ) the remaining <50% is just tilted guys that care about the game and are competetive in it. i will never agree that this "miniority " deserve a ban from this game

You spent what seems to be the entire game arguing with Ashe, which included calling for reports, which is harassment.

Autofill can be a bitch, but if your intention was to change roles, you probably should have been clearer as to which role you wanted. Ashe seems like she was initially trying to help you out by giving you support instead of ADC. Even if he WAS trolling you, you should have found some way to work it out rather than just fighting all game. Actually support, dodge, etc.

This wasn't the worst chat log I've ever seen, but it's enough to trigger a punishment, and if you had recently been 14-day banned, the next step is perma.

if im not mistaken our OP got trolled , ashe was autofilled to support but he/she/it did not care and picked ADC champ because "idc i adc " ( most common response to "why " ) i actually fully understand guy who wrote this post. In his situation, although i dont say he is saint , he had no good choices, game was mostly likely lost and he couldnt do nothign about it , just patiently wait for 20 minute mark and cry a bit while you get flamed , your "support " steals your cs etc. In this case OP deserves permaban ( imho not but if we fallow the rules yes ) but guy that trolled him should be also banned. Im 100% sure tho nobody would care and the other guy will live to see another day just because he was less "negative " and he trolled instead of typing in chat

OP didn't mention that Ashe was autofilled. OP was autofilled to ADC, asked to be swapped, the support swapped, OP wasn't satisfied and asked to once again be ADC, but it was too late.

This is all secondhand, and we'll never get an unbiased account of what went down in that champ select. But there's no reason to bitch at Ashe for an entire game straight. OP should have adjusted or dodged.

i can agree to a point.. lets start when he was already in game , he chose the worst road to the end, he flamed ok ok he should be banned my point is that there are no good roads from this point. You can either flame ( get banned ) , Afk ( low priority que and ruining game for your team ) or mute everybody and patiently wait till this situation makes you wanna kms . There should be a way to escape this situations.

Well, we don't know whether OP or Ashe picked first. If Ashe autolocked ADC before OP had a chance to pick champ, either due to a miscommunicated attempt at helping or as a troll pick, OP could have just played support. That's something we all do sometimes thanks to autofill, after all.

And regardless of champ pick order, OP had the option of dodging in champ select. Five minute wait time, -3 LP if it was ranked. Not a big deal either way, and certainly better than entering a game that you have zero expectations of enjoying. OP led with "report Ashe" right out of the gates, so it wouldn't seem that he learned anything new about the situation after the game had started.

Here's the thing that blows my mind, every single time.

The OP chose those words. They were said with deliberate intent. Yet, somehow, that others would take offense and report him for them is an absolute, freaking mystery.

Saying "curse" words does not make you toxic. You can use swears and be just fine. Calling for reports and acting like you did is toxic. Did you not learn anything from your other punishments?
