"Game the System"

I recently got a post deleted and this message from a mod:

Heya Slime,

I am deleting your comment "Lock in Nami top, feed your ass off, and don't say a word in chat in-game. Riot only bans based on in-game chat. Then after you leave the game, call him a bunch of racial slurs.

This is kind of a joke, but sad that you can literally do this exact thing and never get punished."

I don't see a purpose to this comment being here when it encourages or hints at ways to "game the system."

Thanks,

Galacius

Maybe if your system is so terrible that people can actually do this and get away with it, you should change your system. There are posts every day reaching the top of the boards complaining about lack of pre- and post-game moderation. Stop deleting comments highlighting this and fix the problem.

Why should such posts be left standing, if they...

  • promote toxic behavior and...

  • ...are simply wrong.

Because inting and feeding is punished daily, in fact its punished on the same level as racism and hate speech (instant escalation to 14day/permaban). You not acknowledging this fact, doesn't make it any less true.

At face value it promotes toxic behavior.

Even if the system needs to be changed, saying something like this (even as a joke) will only encourage pre/post game toxicity. It has very little constructive value and I see no reason why it's better than simply stating that the system is flawed, thus why I believe that is was removed.

Also, I'm pretty sure they check post-game chat in specific cases (maybe if someone points out the post-game chat in their reports).

Just my two cents on the matter.

This doesn't seem like you've posted to the right boards, since your issue seems to be with Boards Moderation. Regardless of what you think needs fixed, you didn't put forward a concern in your original post; instead, you proffered a toxic strategy that has either no value or a negative value to others' gaming experiences.

Do you have a question about your thread being deleted or do you want to make a comment about the state of the Instant Feedback System?

If you're questioning the deletion, you should post this in Boards Feedback instead.

If you'd like to make a comment, feel free, but I do wanna let you know that Riot has actually come out lately saying they're not satisfied with how intentional feeders are detected currently and will be making some changes in the near future to detect these players better.
