Need your feedback

First off all i had to google the term smurf. I think this is meant for experienced players to play on a low lvl account right? So let's go on: I started like 2 days ago maybe? And got to lvl 5. Today i had i weird match like some ppl did behave completely unknown to me and one annie in my had like 100 creeps in the 25th minute (wtf i had something like 50) and got like some cool kills, but left after she died 2 times in a row against that flying bug with insane damage. She called a surrender and went afk. As expected moral was down and we lost. But they called her and this other guy out as a smurf and were spamming/insulting each other in the /all chat. I mean i like the game and the graphics are truly lovely (didn't get to read the lore yet) but i don't know what impact this kind of social behavior does have to me and whether this is also common on higher levels (even end level) I did watch LoL like 2 weeks before i started to play and had gotten some info on mechanics like minions are ressources of gold / exp yada yada. Anyways I feel like people don't want to communicate at a nice base, at least the tendency for teammates to talk with me shows that worse player are more open for jokes or constructive calls like "gj / ty / u2 "

Sidenote: i play mainly overwatch and there's communication very important as the game is team-based like LoL
