Honor Level Progress Bar?
So, this here is my first post on the boards and was recommended I post it for public feedback and all that.
So as the title suggests, why has a visual progress bar not been implemented for honor? I mean yeah they gave us check points (1-3) but that doesn't really tell me personally much you know; only that I'm at a check point. And I know they said they made the honor system easier to level up in, but the progress still seems dreadfully slow. Personally, I think a progress bar would be great for a few reasons:
- It gives players more of an incentive to keep acting sportsmanlike. a player that can see they are "X" amount of honors away from a checkpoint or a level up or are 90% of the way to a checkpoint or honor level up, is incentive enough to keep their behavior under control. Rather than "I've been at this for 'X amount of time' and have gotten no where so what's the point?"
- Players, no matter what game it is like to see the progress they are making. Whether they are squeaky clean non-toxic people, or just straight up well, you know (Lookin at you T1). Players regardless of the game wanna see they are making progress in what they are doing.
- It will help with reforming rates from people who have a history of toxic behavior. People who feel down about not getting anywhere will not wanna continue changing themselves and will default back to what they know. Toxicity. "Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence" -Helen Keller.
So I do feel that a honor progress bar will make a big change in leagues player community. For the good ones and maybe even the not so nice ones. However without trial and error, no progress in anything will ever be made. So for those that have stuck around to read this whole thing, what are your thoughts on this? Do you think a honor level progress bar would be a good idea?
