Return LP for games lost where reported player is punished and remove more from offender

I am at my wits end with this game at low elo.

I am expected to endure vile abuse and not retaliate in order to align with Riot values.

Cool.

I'll either then endure non stop abuse as a silent victim for a half hour or mute all to avoid the banter and put myself at a tactical disadvantage.

Either way my team's play is diminished and the victims pay the toll.

I know I am not alone when I say that I want reporting taken more seriously by Riot. How about when you have one of these repulsive people on your team:

  1. LP is returned to the losing teammates of the reported and punished offender
  2. Total LP loss from the game transferred to the reported offender

eg. in the loss a total of 75 LP was evenly removed from losing team. 4 people would get their 15LP back and the punished offender would, on top of their standard punishment, lose all 75 LP for the team.

First of all, would you be willing to sacrifice your hard-earned LP if the enemy team happened to have a player who got punished for abusing the chat? Because that would be the only logical way to counterbalance LP reimbursement of that variety.

Second, trying to reach for such an easy out when it comes to LP loss will only lead to abuse. Y'know what happens if you give people LP reimbursement if their teammates flame and get punished?

You get people trolling when a match goes sour so they can coax a player into flaming them so they can cushion the loss by having someone get punished.

I'll say this plainly and clearly: You do not want this. At all.

Additionally, transferring the collective LP loss of four players (who all also contributed to the loss, mind you) onto one player for suffering punishment is straight up OVERKILL. Not only do they get punished and stripped of Honor (making it more difficult to earn end-of-season rewards), but now they're way further away from getting the rank they desire, meaning they have no further incentive to play Ranked to win, let alone reform.

And, you guessed it.

That leads to further flaming, potential trolling, etc.

And, likewise, you do not want this.

I don't see how that not being able to see non-stop abuse puts you at a tactical disadvantage.

So someone goes 0/15, a player gets frustrated with that and calls the 0/15 player "bad", gets punished, and the 0/15 player should not lose any LP? Thats absurd.
