Avoid Lower Priority
Screen to go red last 10-s when banning or locking in your choice. I know there is a change in sound in the last 10 seconds but many of us may have the volume down due to various reasons.

It's not a bad idea, but there's certainly an expectation for players to be active during champ select. Making sure you're running the correct runes/masteries/summoners, not blatantly walking into a counter-pick, and building a solid team composition are important. I don't know if it's worth it for Riot to make it easier to go AFK or semi-AFK during the process.
