I sent in a ticket to Riot today after I got permanently banned. I am going to paste it here to get your opinions on it!

Hello, Riot

Today I got permanently banned, which does suck I have to admit. It kicked me off but then I logged on to go see the chat logs like I always would to see if it was a rightful ban. The chat logs were very thrown out of proportion, considering what was actually said. Let me tell you about the, and explain why I think it was a misguided report.

Chat log 1: Game 1 SpawnWin: ... SpawnWin: do you know how to coutner her? SpawnWin: cause you are one of the #1 counters to her SpawnWin: .. SpawnWin: but you counter her hard SpawnWin: .... Well yes, this game wasn't very toxic on my part at all. The only time I really 'flamed' was at the end of the game after a full game of a Talon intentionally feeding, and being toxic, therefor ruining the whole game for the others players and my brother. Soraka was flaming from the start because of it, and tilted half of the team. If you ask me saying something about a guy intentionally feeding in a ranked game, and laughing about it is pretty rude to the whole team. I think the guys that was flaming from the start of the game, and the guy who started to feed intentionally should be banned, not me. I tried to enter this game with an open mind cause I believed in my team but they were toxic/rude to me by flaming, and intentionally losing the game for me.

Here in this game, we had a Lee Sin that was a platinum smurf. He was doing good at the start, and if you realize this game was a good one for me because I was lifting up the team and such! The whole start of the game was a nice friendly match between the enemy team, then the Lee Sin smurf starting harassing me heavily. Please, go look at his chat logs and tell me that he was not being extremely rude to me. I was trying my best to play the game and be nice, but he had to come in and hurt my feelings. He was flaming me the whole game and at the end of the game he was saying to me that I suck and that I need to not play. I think that is dumb that this report went in his favor, and I got banned when he was the problem that game. I showed no rudeness to anyone but him because he harassed me and the team constantly.

This game my bot was put against a Plat 3 smurf which isn't very cool at all. Again in this game I was starting off with a chill attitude. I told the bot support (Soraka) to chill because MF died once and she instantly start flaming, and it didn't stop till the end of the game. When I said something to the smurf Karma on the other team, it was jokingly and as you can tell she knew also because of her response. The Soraka put MF off of her game because she was extremely toxic the whole game. It happens, people have bad games and I was trying to accept that. Soraka was not helping me out though, I had no bad feelings for anyone but Soraka giving up at 5 minutes, and flaming the whole team. Again check her chat logs and realize that this ban was not given to the correct person. Soraka ruined that game for me, and my team and I think there should be something done about that. Because I say something in a video game? I wasn't even talking smack, which LoL is the only game to report people for doing so. IF someone doesn't want to here me say something about them being rude to 4 other people, they have a mute button. People should never be banned for toxicity because there is a mute button, especially for people like me who didn't even deserve it! None of the above chat logs are modified, and I hope this ban will be lifted because it took 3 games to get me banned and atleast 2 were not rightfully deserved. Comment 1 - Also I have to add, that I wasn't banned for the last 3 months at least! I heard that this takes the severity down, and I was doing really good with my toxcicity and I know that if the situation is severe enough it would go straight to perma. As you see above this situation is not because I didn't show constant toxicity, but I was just sticking up for the team, and at points lifting them up! Thanks again! Comment 2 - Also I fully understand why people are banned for toxicity. It sucks to have someone flaming you, when you are trying to do your best. But here I believe that if I say something to someone who is flaming the whole team, it shouldn't be taken to this level. I wasn't being very flamey, and even tried to help me team. Comment 3 - 1 last thing to add, for proof of not being banned for over 3 months was when I was last banned for a 2 weeks, I posted a ticket too. That was 4 months ago! and as you can see I have gotten much better!

Besides the standard insulting comments, these caught my eye. Riot has extremely low tolerance for bigotry and insults that stem from bigotry. In addition to all of that, you admitted that you've already been banned before, so you should already know that Riot doesn't want you displaying poor behavior in game. But you continued anyway.

So Riot took the gloves off and got serious.

You used hatespeech twice (f####t), as well as continually harrassed your teammates and behaved negatively non-stop. There is a zero-tolerance policy for hatespeech. You got what you deserved.

If your last punishment was a 2 week ban, then ANY infraction can result in a permaban. It doesn't matter how "severe" the infraction is, if it occurs within a relatively short time span from the time of the 14 day ban. And 4 months is short enough that any of the following would be a viable report: calling for multiple reports (which is harassment), calling teammates fa**ots (which is considered hate speech) and saying "SpawnWin: I honestly hope talon dies."

While many people would tend to think that your logs aren't nearly as bad as some that come through here, Riot has a 4 strike policy. And the 14 day ban is your third strike.

All I saw was some chat logs and from those and looking at your scores, it seems your actions in the actual game were not out of line and therefore no, you didnt deserve the ban.
