I have been perma banned for something I didnt do, I just want to prove it.

Hello, this is NanoShot currently ranked Plat 5, I have been accused by riot games that I have been scripting or using 3rd party apps. I have never used such programs, and I'm paying the price for it. I know its sad to say that I have contemplated suicide because of this, but when I put 7-10 hours of hard work a day into this game everything revolves around this game. I feel lossed, I feel personally attacked. I feel so shitty I just want to prove that I didn't do any of these things. I have always been a competitor not a cheater. I remember hearing about people that did these type of things and I hated them, because for me this game was meant for fun and getting better. I have never used any type of 3rd party apps I just like playing the game. I feel in love with league and no one really understands, I wouldn't do this. I don't like these feelings. This is my last resort, I think theres a mistake with my ruling. heres my op.gg I mean I know it doesnt matter but I dont think I do good enough to script, https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=NanoShot I just want to play. Riot please somewhere in ur code, or whatever you use to convict people with its wrong... I know because I dont do it, but youre telling me that I do. I just want to prove I didnt do it. Any recognition would help.

EDIT: thank you everyone that has posted on this matter but It seems like Riot is perfect and dont make mistakes, I just wish I didnt have to be the one taking there mistakes and getting punished for this. I have played this game since season 4 around july and I loved it since, but with this happening to me I dont know what I'll do.

  1. League's just a game, you're worth more than your account ever was. You can rebuild your account if you need to, people have rebuilt bigger investments.
  2. Check for any games you don't recognize in your match history, it might be a case of being hacked and the hacker using scripts.
  3. If you share a computer with another player, make sure they haven't used scripts on it.
  4. Put in a Support Ticket (link at the bottom of the page) of you want to have them double check.

Thank you for replying to this, Im not feeling to well right now. To answer the questions, I've looked through my games I havent noticed anything weird. I dont share a PC, and I have sent about 6 tickets today.

Sending multiple tickets just makes it take longer, you should only send one. They will get to it as quickly as they can, and they will get to it, so please be patient.

I have sent 6 tickets alone today, they have been responded to. All of the feedback that I get is that I actually scripted. I have never once on my life done anything close to this.

Have you ever downloaded any programs that in any way might interact with the League client or game? Have you run anti-virus programs and rootkit detection recently to ensure your machine is free? It's possible that your computer has something on it which is interacting with Riot's data in ways that are not allowed.

That said, Riot is VERY careful with those bans, and doesn't release the methods or data it gathers to check it, since otherwise the people building those systems will know what to exploit to avoid detection. If they show that something is accessing data it shouldn't be able to there's going to be an issue.

The only programs that I have used in the past is overwalf overlay for in game replays of my death, I have used Plays.tv, and use op.gg to see other players info. I has a long talk with tech support and they made me download Malwarebytes, a app that detects threats. My PC at the time had 7 threats, the have been quarantined. I wish Riot could be more transparent about these things because at the end of it all Im the one getting fuked over. I understand that they cant share the info due to reasons you mention but it really just sucks.

They won't help you bud. Same thing happened to me this last week and I've been trying constantly to get some sort of help. I know exactly how you feel, how frustrating it is to absolutely know you didn't do what they are accusing you of and not to be able to do anything about it. I'm sorry this happened to you as well. I just wish riot would admit that whatever program they use isn't full proof and that they shouldn't be perma banning their players based on this system.

The logic should never be "guilty until proven innocent". Thats not how laws work for a very good reason. Not that this is as dramatic as the criminal justice system, but the concept should still stand. At the very least Riot should try something to help those that believe they have been wrongly banned. Would it take some extra work from their side? Yep. Would there be actual scripters and hackers who try to play the innocent card to get unbanned? Absolutely. But would it be worth it if they are able to help those that actually are innocent and dont have to lose 6 years of dedication and support for a game they absolutely love? I definitely think so.

"would it take extra work"....... riot is a business the idea is to spend as little to make the most giving a system that could lead to botting and scripting to not be punished does not sound like a smart business move.

You did not lose the 6 years of dedication and support for league all you lost was the account and all that pertained to the account

You still have all the dedication(unless you don't) You still gave riot support(you gave them money, that will never change)

You make a good point, but what scares me the most is not that my account being taken away but future accounts that I try so hard at. My goal for this year was to make Master Tier, I know its a bit ambitious but that was my goal and I was making good strides towards it I was just in Plat 4 Promos and then I got perma banned. I have another account and Im just scared to play on this PC im on, I wish someone could scan this PC and tell me what is happening but Riot would rather ignore me than help me.

Ask riot to investigate your current account for suspicion of scripting as you are trying to avoid being banned for it

Make it sounds better, but just ask them to check the alt account

I have already been perma banned for it. They continue to say that I have scripted but I have never done so in my life. I have also told them about my 2nd account and recommended that I unistall the current LoL Client that I have and reinstall but I fell the need to factory restore my PC, but I also want to keep my PC the same way because I can send them all of my games that I record. They didnt respond after I told them I could send them evidence

I mean not trying to sound rude but this really isn't proof. You can still script and just not use it as much to make it seem like you are legit. The system caught something and if you are truely innocent then contact support will help.

I would do anything to prove that I didnt do this, I'd even send my PC to them so I can get my account back but that isnt a possibility

Submit a ticket.

Also, have you ever modified game files, for any reason? That's the kind of stuff that gets auto-detected and you could be banned for it.

Same thing happened to my friend 3 days ago. He spends around 7-8 hours a day playing LoL. We played the last game together than went to sleep. Next thing in the morning they said he is banned for scripting etc. By the way he uses macbook and there is only discord and league of legends installed in his laptop, thats it. He tried to talk with the riot but they said case is closed. They gave him 7 thousand years of ban. I still cant believe how riot did such a mistake and still doesnt care about this mess. I feel your pain and im sorry for you.
