Does a BAN result in almost permanent loot restriction?

I looked up some discussions and since a friend asked me to look into this topic, it seems, as if you need a number of " good games " meaning, that you shouldnt flame, shouldnt harass, but you need to show good sportsmanship! How is this determined?! Well I guess what Riots trying to say is, if people dont HONOR you you wont ever get loot again. Lets be honest guys, how many people do you honor? I may send out 1 honor every 20 games.. that means around 1 honor a month... yay... So people that dont play 10 games a day, and are begging for honors wont EVER earn any loot ever again.... Or how else is " good sportsmanship" determined?

I don't think it's on the honor system, it's just going a month or so without a valid report against you to get Hextech Crafting back.

it took me a few days and i had my restriction lifted.... just stop talking and you wont get reported, if you want to go a step further be polite twice in a game... once at the start say good luck have fun or glhf or whatever and then at the end gg, or wp.... say just those 2 things and you will decrease how fast you get off restrictions, you will win more games, and you will get reported less...

all these things add up to more fun

just my opinion

Don't worry about it the reward suck anyway. How many people have actually gotten something useful from a hextech crafting in the first place, I'd wager is less than 2% of the playerbase.

That said, I've been chat restricted and subsequently cleared for rewards multiple times since the new system was implemented. Near as I can tell, it's about going a certain number of games without getting reported (after the punishment period). This is pretty much how their automated system determines if you've reformed. This amount increases with the severity of the offense, I've been cleared for rewards a quickly as 2 days after a 10 game chat restrict wore off. A 14 day ban is gonna be much longer tho.

I personally always honor people who have grabbed my attention by; doing really well, were enjoyable to talk/listen to, were really humble/sportsmanlike.
