I whine a lot because of how many unwinnable games I get. I know people don't like that, but it shouldn't be punishable if I'm still trying, which I always do. Laugh at my bitching if you will, but I am innocent, all I want are fair games so I get frustrated when 1 or more of my teammates troll because they don't care to win as much as I do.

// Jhin and Pantheon were duoing, as you can see if you check their op.gg history. Jhin feeds first blood intentionally on an enemy lv 1 invade, granting lux first blood. I miss a solo kill by 1 auto while she plays super aggro all laning phase and gets a CS edge over me, while Jhin feeds intentionally bot lane and trolls me for having 5 cs/min average after I failed my all-in. // Another bad matchmaking game, as I pointed out in game my whole team (besides me) had sub 50% winrate for the season while the enemy only had 2 such players. Also, the twitch and janna were a duo I believe, as Janna flamed me all champ select and game as well. I got paired with him again later and he flamed me then as well. I don't see how this punishment stands, but I'm guessing it will, in which case I have to ask Lyte or any other @Riot member that work with player behavior - why am I getting punished when in so many of these games I'm getting trolled by people who don't care as much as I do about winning in ranked? How's that fair? And why is my matchmaking so lopsided as often as it is, in terms of 40% winrate players on both teams?

Ok, now read very carefully what you are saying.

You are saying that, because I am doing something that people do not like, I should be punished for it.

Now consider the people trolling, the "diamond gatekeepers", and so on that are purposely ruining my games. I don't like that. So shouldn't they be punished? But wait. They weren't punished. Why the double standard?

For the final time, I know whining is annoying and people don't like it. But it's not against the rules. I'm not flaming anyone; there's no way anyone reads what I said and says "Wow this is offensive and created a lasting negative impression on me and I'm upset". Those kinds of things are punishable, my whining is not.

I feel like I'm arguing with a bunch of forum trolls, but either way my point is out there. Hopefully Lyte or someone else comes by and does the right thing here. The trolling I've endured for wanting to win at a game has been ridiculous and it's kind of sad you guys don't have anything better to do than rub it in. That's just the community I suppose.

What you need to realize is that unless you are yourself a toxic players, there are only 4 players on your team who could be toxic. Your enemy team has 5 players who could be toxic. Statistically speaking, toxic players will happen more often on the other team than on yours. This is not mere opinion, this is basic statistics. UNLESS, there is something about how YOU are behaving that is causing toxicity. Since you are in every single one of your games, and most of your games turn toxic, as you claim, there is probably a "look in the mirror" moment that needs to happen on your part.

I can re ask my question in light of the previous paragraph, why don't I meet these toxic people that are rampant in your games?

You've said yourself that you know what you do that irritates people. Just bitch at people out loud instead of typing it in chat. All your problems are resolved. You say that you're just whining and not flaming, the word you want to use to describe how you're speaking to people isn't really important. Just stop speaking to people like that. It doesn't matter what they do, we ALL agree some people are just morons. You can't help them, let them be morons and enjoy yourself with your game.

Honestly man, just don't type. I know how frustrating the game can be when you feel like your losses are at the hands of your teammates, however, no matter how much they have tilted you, once you begin to type you'll tilt them and it's only going to make the entire game harder. No matter what their performance is try to only say positive things, it actually affects their gameplay. And when they say negative things, just ignore it. I promise it's going to help you out.

Bottom line is I'm a victim here. I get flamed and trolled in all these games where I even slightly make it known that I care about winning. You may think that's a joke but that's literally how some people choose to spend their free time and how some people think at my elo - "Oh, this guy wants to win? He wants diamond? Well I, as a diamond 5 player, already have it and am at no risk of demotion so let me shit on this guys parade and make the climb harder for him." Seriously, look how many games in my history where a diamond 5 dude feeds on my team. Like the Diana mid in one of my losses that fed the enemy Talon intentionally. He still gets to enjoy the game btw.

Do you think I like getting upset about the game? Do you think I want to be negative? No, I fucking hate feeling that way, I wish more than anything I could be like qtpie or something and not give a single fuck (but still try (most of the time)). But I'm not fortunate like him or others that money off this game. I don't get anything back. I have to earn my climb, and every 3 steps of the way there's a douche that has nothing better to do but spend his day bringing people down. All I want is mid diamond because that's my rank, but I have to grind for weeks through a much lower elo because of teammates playing against me.

I've seen other people have their appeals go through even though they swore and flamed back at the people trolling them. Why shouldn't I, especially when I haven't flamed back?

Did you really look up your teammates win rates just to complain about them to the enemy team?

And damn, you spend a lot of time using your own win rate to claim your better than everyone else.

Here's a thought, keep all that to yourself. It's pretty scummy behavior and does nothing to help you win the game. In fact, it's more than likely to piss everyone off.

You really need to take a few moments and decide if your massive ego has a place in chat. Telling everyone that you're better than them (in one way or another) does nothing but inflate your own ego and belittle everyone else.

No, I use the "multi" feature on op.gg during champ select to search for potential trolls or players that were boosted so I can dodge if necessary. It's especially useful when you are at the plat 1-diamond 5 elo boundary, as a lot of the diamond 5 players stop trying when they reach that milestone, because they know master rank isn't a reasonable goal for them.

For example if I see someone with a 10w-30L record on the season, I'm going to dodge. That signals that it's basically going to be a 4v5 game. I don't recall a time where I made the mistake of playing a game out when the signals pointed to dodging, where I didn't regret not dodging. The game where all of my teammates had 40% winrate was a perfect example. I went in knowing that it was going to go badly and that I should have dodged, and look what happened. Got trolled and reported and lost.

So that's my method of trying to avoid as many frustrating games as possible, and you can see the end result. The 2000-2200 elo range is very unfun to play in, there's so much sandbagging and trolling it's ridiculous.

you realize that d5 is a noob elo? i think that games start at d2-d1..maybe:)..but, why are you blaming your team? are you that bad that you need to be carried? idk what the problem is with you dude..i don't give a single fck about my ranked games:)..if i have bad teams or w/e.. bcs i know that you need to actually get better in order to get higher. Look at my games and you tell me. I gave you the link for your convenience. I have several games where I've hard carried, there's even a 4v5 win in there somewhere. The winrate speaks for itself. I complain because I shouldn't have to grind for weeks to get to the elo where I belong. I want to compete with the tiers you mention, but I'm getting dragged down by people who don't care. There's no place for that in the game, but it is what it is, I can't make Riot punish people who don't try in ranked.

ok..you probably have good mmr, which means you gain alot of ip for wins..so, the grind is not that hard. Also, bcs alot of players (solo players, including myself-are quiting ranked) is one of the reasons you play vs d5. not enough players. It even happend to me a few weeks ago-played vs d1-masters:))..i know i had good mmr, but that was different:))

As i said man..it doesn;t matter if you win or lose games..you need to improve your game to get where you want..winning games or losing them, doesn;t actually do nothing for you. Until you reach a point where you can easy carry in your elo. You will climb;)

I play in d5, i had high mmr and to be honest..if i feel like playing ranked-i usually carry. But, sometimes, i even troll-i get bored and want to pick something different:)..doesn;t matter for me dude..i know that in order to reach and stay in a certain elo- you need to improve your own game;)
