How to deal with toxicity/tilt and never get into the negative territory in League of Legends

**These are for ranked games mostly. **

  1. /mute all at the start of the game.

  2. Pretend you are just playing with and against a bunch of difficult bots, sometimes they are good, sometimes they are bad. You can lead them to victory if you try hard enough or sometimes you get very very bad bots. It could be the other way around, you may have a rough game then your really good bots that will carry you.

  3. If someone makes a dumb mistake, do not say or ping anything, remember... they are just bots.

  4. If you make a dumb mistake, someone tries to flame you with spam pings, remember... they are just bots.

  5. If someone makes a dumb mistake, then they start to spam ping(essentially blame and flame) me for their own stupidity... damn, I would immediately unmute and start to retaliate which often leads to chat suspension then 14Days ban... hence why I am toxic... sorry guys, can't help you on this one.

JK on #5. Same thing again just pretend they are bots :)

Or you can be a normal human, and participate in the chat while not being toxic.

Ya i kinda have this problem as a support main where i notice the enemy JG or Mid is coming to gank bot, but i ping around ten times and my ADC doesn't budge cause she too focused on farming to budge and she muted me cause she thinks she's got this. Muting others pings just harms you when they can offer good advice and see the enemy before you do.

My advice is to just tank the toxicity and take whatever advice they can offer, especially if they are carrying the game, and then report them afterword. I know that there are some sensitive league players who can't deal with harsh comments, i have many friends like that, but if that's the case i wouldn't recommend playing ranked. I would recommend playing blind, since a lot of people goof off there (I'm guilty of playing Janna carry in blind), because in ranked many people have IP on the line ( except trolls, f*ck those guys).

In short, ranked is a place where an entire team needs to cooperate and using the chat and taking others advice is a part of that. Muting others will help prevent toxicity, but it wont help you get any better at ranked.
