10 game chat restrict to 14 day suspension

I recently received a 10 game chat restrict on my account as the result of flaming 3 Spanish premades that were insulting me the whole game. I was also being toxic towards them, but seeing as the 3 of them all reported me for the same offence, I was punished. As for the topic of the title, I had been playing AR URF, bought the RP mission pass, and started to grind these missions. In one of these many games i encountered a LeBlanc on the enemy team who would flame me every time she killed me and called me gay and a %%% multiple times. I would respond to her insults the same way, also being toxic. As i had been recently punished on this account, I expected another punishment, but I also know that it goes from a 10 day chat restrict to a 25 game chat restrict, so I was extremely surprised and outraged when I logged on to read that I had received a 14 day suspension. I would like to request that this suspension be removed and I get the next tier of punishment instead, and if that is not possible I would at least like to have the RP spent on the pass refunded, seeing as I cannot use it anymore.

You were punished because you were being toxic towards them. One report counts the exact same as nine reports.

Yeah, you 'also being toxic' got you again. (Sounds like you've got a hard time letting go of what someone says, just use the mute button, it actually helps a lot.) Anything that gets replaced with "%%%" on the Boards is something Riot counts as hate speech and it bumps you up real quick.

The 10 game chat restriction to 25 game chat restriction to 14 day ban to permaban process is only if you're being moderately toxic. If you behave more extreme, then you skip punishment tiers, which is why you got a 14 day ban. If you were repeating the "%%%" phrase, then you should consider yourself lucky your account was not permabanned, since normally that counts as 3 punishments (going from 0 to 14 day ban, or 10 game chat restriction to permaban).

I'd also mention that Riot has a policy of not refunding content lost due to suspensions. However, they consider requests to pause content such as boosts so that the time is still there after the suspension is over.

That may not be possible in this case, but you can always ask.

Whatever that %%%% is got you the 14 days. Why do something you already KNEW you will ve punished for and then go cry about it?

They escalate punishments for hate speech. That's why you received a 2 week suspension.

Probably not gonna get a refund. Your own fault for returning the toxicity with basically the same level of toxicity. It didn't matter if they were a premade, 1 report would have triggered the same thing. If you reported them, they may have also gotten a punishment.

So simply put you all believe I am in the wrong here and there is nothing that I can do about it. That's unfortunate, but i suppose that's just the way it will have to be. Is there any way i can check if these other individuals have received any punishment at all, just as I have? Many thanks for all your help and kind responses! :)

There's no way to check if they've gotten a chat restriction, but if you're obsessive enough to keep refreshing websites like op.gg you can get an idea if someone has stopped playing for 14 days or longer.

If you are a Rioter and keep up these banns. eventually everyone will get in a game and insta mute everyone and league will be a quite community and besides often times i never flame unless someone else flames me first. this is ridiculous. and without warning.

If I was a Rioter my name would be red.

Plenty of players are capable of being friendly. I don't have to worry about muting all or being banned, because I know my behavior never comes close to warranting such action.

Sorry, any punishment is considered a private matter, so they will not release any information about punishments to anyone who is not the account owner.

If you want, you can follow them on op.gg or another site, but I don't recommend it. It's best to focus on yourself and what you can do differently than on what happens to others.

Well I suppose the conclusion is that there is nothing that I can do about this situation, and my RP is gone for good. It's honestly quite saddening and disappointing that in 3 days, and 2 games, an account on which I have never been punished and had Honour Level 2 can drop to Honour Level 0 and a 14 day suspension. Meanwhile the other players continue on playing as if nothing happened. But in the end, no matter what I say or do I am in the wrong here, and therefore nothing will change.

2 games: Game 1, chat restrict, 3 spanish premades. Game 2, flaming LeBlanc. I had never received any sort of punishment before, and was Honour Level 2.

The %%%% that you knowingly and willfully returned to the LB caused your punishment escalation. You have been "recently" punished on this account so your toxic meter is high. It doesnt take much (especially with the %%%%) to push your meter to punishment level.
