Antiflamer pack

IDEAS: ** + IMPOSED MUTING: **Frequently reported players will be able to join games, but are MUTED/SILENCED in all chats by default and thus cannot type anything for a certain time period, e.g. a week/month (for instance, this penalty can be implemented in the case that a user gets reported 5 times for a specific communication-related action). ** + BLACKLISTING: **IGNORING and AVOIDING players you never want to be matched with ever again.

BACKGROUND STORY: My friends and I are sick of the so-called 'flame' and level of toxicity in chat when playing LoL. Losing a lane is part of the game; one side has to lose in order for the game to end, right? That does not mean a direct "intentional feed"... Sometimes other players are better or have a more suitable teamwork, no matter the league they play in. WE JUST WANT TO ENJOY THE GAME; we did not login to be constantly insulted - regardless of performances. summoner 3

WHAT ARE YOUR IDEAS? Comment below and make LoL more fun for everyone! :)

*sigh* This idea again.

#Blacklisting is not practical in a competitive online game because people will abuse it to manipulate the matchmaking

While that is irrelevant in the lower ELOS, with hundreds of thousands of players per region, it is extremely relevant in the higher ELO, where good players would be blacklisted because people don't want to play against them.

Blizzard featured such a system in Overwatch, and it failed miserably for exactly this reason.

As to "imposed muting", this is already done, its called "Chat restriction".

You can mute everyone yourself. The solution is easy, mute them.

Blacklisting to include those players that don't ever learn from their mistakes and continue to do the same stupid shit over and over and over and over because that is just as toxic as anything people type.

You could always get better at the game by practicing specific sets of skills and having a real strategy.

It's only noobs that get flamed, and they don't follow Summoner's code #1 anyway.

It's an American game and American free speech is more free than Eurozone free speech. There is no need to make the game more Euro that isn't what made it successful.
