My Experiences In Ranked For My First Season Of Playing

So I don't usually say much if anything when similar stuff like this happens but I feel like this one needs to be known as a warning to other rank players or first time league players. I have terrible luck with my matches but this one just blew me out of the water. Voli was our jungler, lulu was support, ashe was bot, and poppy was top. Ashe randomly didn't go help leash for the jungler. Voli signed off as soon as he hit level 4. Ashe stood in lane and AA'd minions and hardly attacked any enemy champions. We couldn't even remake since it was past the timer for remaking by the time Voli decided to leave. Even the enemy team thought the person playing Ashe was really not even trying. I went to help bot lane and I initiated attacking 2 bot with HP at about half each while Ashe stood behind turret AAing cs. When I died trying to help her, she stood there and finally used her W to attack only the cs. I asked why she doesn't ult or attack and she said her ult was for escaping. I was literally so confused...is this person a troll or they literally have no idea what they are doing? So I looked up their summoner name and viewed their matches. The person was OK. The matches were around the range of 8/11/? some assists. So they have to at least know how to play somewhat, right? I have a lot of matches where 1-2 people afk after it's too late to remake. Example: I played a game that we were winning and the adc asks to surrender and says if we don't they will just afk. So most of us didn't surrender and the adc left even though we were doing great and they were doing well themselves. I think the support and adc were friends because they randomly both decided to afk after that and their names had a similarity to them that suggested they knew each other. This is my first season ever trying ranked and it has been really rough. I started off as a higher tier and just plummeted from there and I'm trying to climb up but the climb feels like I need to 1v9 everyone in bronze/silver. Carry myself and the team even if 1-2 people afk and others feed. I asked a few of my diamond friends about ranked and they told me that you really do need to 1v9 basically. I usually win my lane which is usually mid but I really can't beat 5 people in a team fight even if I go 16+/0/assists. I try really hard to "Carry" but I play squishy mid champs that aren't super mobile like Ahri and I don't think many mid laners can carry a whole team or half a team. If anyone plans on playing ranked or is currently playing ranked and dealing with the same struggles. I suggest playing with a whole team of friends. Literally never play solo or even duo, unless you know you can carry 1v9. I play with my boyfriend in ranked sometimes and we still have a lot of issues with teammates going afk. The safe route is Flex with 5 friends. Since this is about player behavior, I think this falls under the "Awkward Troll?" Hence the name of the pictures. So going back to the Ashe game. Here is the photo of the end result. They are either trolling or really don't know how to play? https://postimg.org/image/xymn18m3z/

I watched the pictures halfway through the text, the only name you censor is yours, with which sense?

This post will get deleted for naming and shaming I guess.

You are bronze 4 with a 34 percent win rate, you are matched against the worst of the worst in league. You'll often run into players who play like Ashe.

You haven't fallen any tiers, tiers would be silver to bronze. You started B1 and fell 3-4 divisions. That's completely normal and surprises a lot of new players. You may think you play well due to experiences in normals, but normals simply aren't a good way to get good at the game. People use norms to fuck around/not try as hard, so performing well in norms means very little. You won't like hearing this but you aren't as good as you probably think you are. Play more ranked matches and you'll begin to really improve. Your item builds seem pretty standard which is good, bronze and silver typically build insanely bad. i also see you've won 45 percent out of your last 10 which is improvement over your current win rate. I wouldn't be surprised if you hit silver in a month, depending on how much ranked you play.

I'm sorry you've had such a poor experience with ranked play. I've been in a similar situation with Ashe ignoring your gank/roam, where teammates don't really care to act as a team. This was particularly difficult for me, since I'm a support main. One recommendation I have (if you don't do this already) is to ping whenever you expect teammates to cooperate--don't assume they're watching the mini-map. Preferably, ping twice, with one "asking for assistance" ping in their field of vision to catch their attention, and the other a target ping on whatever champion or objective you want to attack. It also helps if you play champions who are capable of solo-carrying. For example, a support player in Bronze would generally be better off going as Brand or Nautilus than Janna or Soraka. I don't really have any solutions for AFKs, but I have been working on a way to help prevent ridiculous 0/15/2-level feeding. I made a post about it, and I'd be interested in hearing whether you think it would improve your play experience. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/6qUT19A0-intentional-vs-careless-feeding
