Permbanned on my D1 acc, why these bans are bullcrap

Hello boards,

First of all I want to say, I think this ban system has become disgusting and flawed. After my 14 day suspension I tried to steer away from toxicity, but to no avail. After playing over 30 games, 3 out of all those games got me a permanent suspension(2 out of 3 had no flame in them, I only flamed the last game of the day due to frustration). Before you start calling bull-shit on this and spam downvoting it, please read the post.

I want to give the reason why I think this system and punishments are heavily flawed. The in game reform card you get after a report, only shows chat logs written by the player that got the suspension. There is no context given AT ALL, and the system bans based off words written in the chat.

I occasionaly curse in game, however I do NOT flame my teammates. The system makes it look like I flame my teammates. There is an option in game to enable curse words if people find it botherful, why are we getting punished for saying *_~~f&$~~_**? If people are toxic in the chat only, why does Riot not roll out permanent mutes? Most other games do it this way, and it is effective. Meanwhile people that run it down mid whenever they lose, steer clear because they did not talk in game.

On to my ban, on this day I was aiming to hit master, and after a frustrating day with many hours played(over 10, I know that is unhealthy) I was getting close to diamond 1. The last few games of the day got me banned, and 2 out of 3 of those are absolute bull. Here's why;

Game 1 that I got punished for(keep in mind I had a lot of non toxic games in between of these) and these games I had not flamed anyone;

Ok, this LOOKS toxic, but there is no context. The only point where I should have toned it down a bit is at the end.

Here is what I said broken down:

Game 3:

This is what I tell my jungle upfront every game, it is a tactic I use to let him know I am fine so he focuses on bot. Since I usually have a bad experience when bot gets ignored. I did not flame anyone here, I did not tell anyone to mute me. And notice the drake lyric, I type random stuff when I am bored.

Now I rarely ff games unless I KNOW WHEN THEY ARE LOST and I just stated my honest opinion here. This game I had a duo bot flaming my jungler, because he did not gank them. They were toxic and I typed this after keeping my mouth shut for over 15 minutes straight. Everyone was flaming eachother, except a few people. I had not said anything before this point.

Ok after this point I got a bit ticked off. Keep in mind my bot was HEAVILY flaming our jungler. I did not say anything for the majority of this game, and I wanted to move on to the next game.

_My bot was flaming our jungler here again, for them losing their lane after one gank. Usually after one death you should be able to keep a lane stable, which is why I did not agree with their statement. Now I curse, but I did not flame our bot. _

My mid started blaming our jungle aswell, I asked him this.

Here I got ticked off from the constant flame from the duo bot lane, this was at the end of the game. I agree, a little toxic but I was critisizing their gameplay not them. If someone said this to me I would take it to the next game and try to improve.

Game 2:

Guess what, after Q ing up again. I get the SAME bot lane on the enemy team. I did not flame them here at all though. I ended up having afks and inters this game. 2 people were just trolling.

Complimenting a play from someone. At this point hell broke lose, I stay quiet for a while when people flame and get mad. My Alistar ran it down mid, Draven was sitting bot afk farming and afk pushing, only to end up with tonnes of deaths on purpose.

This was said in all chat as a reaction to the enemy asking why he inted. There was no reason why. Alistar kept trying to justify it with giving the team all the blame.

Our team wanted to report Alistar, Draven ended up playing again after he realized we could still win 25+ minutes in.

Really ??!? Did I deserve the reports this game. I did not flame ANYONE. The enemy duo bot reported me and in the end game lobby flamed me a bit more, because they had a grudge on me from last game.

Again looking at this game without context makes me look like a heavy cuck.

This is the last game of the day, I got another player afking on me. Agreed I flipped and this is the only game where I might have deserved a small punishment. But a permanent ban? Hell no. I played over 15 games this day and flamed one out of 20?

Not flaming anyone, I know I cursed a bit. I was pretty titled and mad from the past 2 games of having to deal with flamers/inters. Then again there is a filter to remove cursing? This was said as a reaction to my teammate saying their range was small compared to Swain his snare. I simply agreed with him after ganking his lane.** NOT FLAME!**

I know this was a bad call, any d1/master(ego showing) player should know this. Braum was tilted and we were all behind. Braum was flaming and made a baron call. We ended up going for it against a fed > udyr/vlad/swain. That does not end well. Especially since our jungle was doing camps the whole game.

We all wanted to give up at this point, I did not flame braum here. The baron call failed as I expected. We all almost died except a few people. They got baron.

I said enjoy the loss as a joke, this was at the very end when our nexus was getting hit. I said in all chat that I was glad vlad won, because he played well.

I got banned off these games, I only really flamed in ONE? Then again my jungle caused me to flip after she decided to afk, because I politely said that I was fine top lane. The other two were actual bullshit reports. Really?

This game got so hung up on banning its players, it breeds toxicity. Players get mad, because they have to deal with sitting behind their turrets when they lose lane after continues ganks. They end up inting/flaming if something does not go their way. And guess what? We get banned if we call them out on it. Especially in d1/master this shit happens. Stop banning people that curse, ban the trolls that do not talk in game. Mute people that flame, do not chat restrict them. We can always communicate with pings.

tl/dr People should not get banned for flaming in chat, MUTE THEM. Remove chat restrictions, player reform card is actual bull. It shows no context to situations at all and only shows what the player said making them look bad. This game has become overly frustrating, and people that call out trollers/inters get punished. While the trollers/inters walk away, since there is not bot tracking them. But saying bad words makes papa Riot punish you heavily.

It does not matter how bad others are playing, or if they are even violating rules. You do not have the right to harass or flame them in chat. Riot has the capability to look at context - they choose not to, because you are the one who controls your enter key. You are expected to have a minimum amount of self control so as to not get caught up in flaming/harassment if you want to play League.

In all of these games you attack your teammates. For example (even though it's very hard to read through your logs with your continual useless excuses):

Telling someone they should quit the game is in no way not negative. The fact you admit to wanting to ruin the team dynamic like this is even worse.

At the end of the game or not you don't have the right to berate or belittle your teammates. Criticizing someone for their gameplay is fine if you do it constructively. This was as far from constructive as you can get.

If you want to surrender, you're more than permitted to start a surrender vote. You aren't allowed to turn the chat negative by giving up and attempting to convince others to surrender as well.

Your punishment was more than deserved given this is the behavior you displayed so soon after a 14 day ban. The 14 day ban made explicitly clear you were to either reform and stop being negative, or you would be permanently banned.

If I was a betting man, and I was telling someone if they should want to play a game with you, knowing there's a 10% chance your toxic, I'd tell them to not play the game. You were not banned for 1/2 games out of 30. You were banned for 3 games out of 30, plus your prior punishments. Riot is not going to handicap your team by removing your method of communicating with them just because you can't control yourself.

If you would do this in game, man do I respect you. That would just be torturing yourself. And by the way, as I said; at that point of the game WE WERE SITTING IN THE FOUNTAIN waiting for the game to end. I was not the only one that gave up, there is no team dynamic after a certain point in time. You can not win a 3v5 in a d1 game.

Hit high elo and read your chat. Gaurentee you, over 75% of the games you will read things 100 times worse than what I said here. And that is no bet.

Wait? Handicap our team. All you need in this game is pings, people do not use chat to communicate. Not to mention, if we talk game; I have hit diamond 1/master multiple times(I think I am better than you). And if I play a game where people get banned 3/30+! Not 30. games, I will not play.

And by the way, people in high elo do not use the chat to talk, we would just end up banned. ;)

Your options are not limited to the two extremes. You're not required to be spewing sunshine from every orifice. You can just be quiet instead of insulting people.

I want to win games at the end of the day. Losing makes people mad, imagine playing 10hrs+ to get master tier(I know, no life) then having 3 games in a row with people running it down? Would that not tick you off, would you not say something about that?

I rarely insulted them, I only said one thing at the end of the game. Do you honestly want to permaban a player based on what they said at the end of the game. Holy moly, this is sad.

You were likely perma'ed because you've already had a history of breaking civil conduct, not just this one time. It's extremely rare for someone to jump straight to perma ban without traveling up the ladder.

I want to win games at the end of the day. Losing makes people mad, imagine playing 10hrs+ to get master tier(I know, no life) then having 3 games in a row with people running it down? Would that not tick you off, would you not say something about that?

I want to win games as well and I would be pissed off but I would also understand that there is zero point in blowing up about it not only because it's a video game but also because it would only make things worse, not better.

Yet for some odd reason, you take the step of choosing not to control your chat, something that has a measurable impact on winrate.

You're freaking diamond 1. You agonize over builds, the most recent patch notes, the meta, and ignore this one simple thing.

Why? Any competitive player would do just about anything if it meant they won even 1% more of their games.

You're freaking diamond 1. You agonize over builds, the most recent patch notes, the meta, and ignore this one simple thing.

Why? Any competitive player would do just about anything if it meant they won even 1% more of their games.

It baffles me how silver players are trying to teach me the game. It has not even been proven that being nice will win you more games, in fact the most toxic players I have met were challenger. Just because you read the message in loading screen that said; YOU WIN MORE GAMES IF YOU ACT NICE! Does not mean it is true.

Gameplay is what gets you the win, and if someone runs it down in your game, noting you do will change the outcome.

And besides, what I said in these games I find mild. Only the last game truly stood out.

That's not a standard of behavior that exists here, nor anywhere else online or real life. If the rules say "don't be a dick", you should not expect to find a hundreds page document with lists of bannable dick behavior.

Coincidentally, "don't be a dick" is a pretty good summary of the summoner's code, which you agreed to in order to play the game and post here.

Stop playing the blame game, and focus on League of Legends. If you can't manage, just refrain from using the chat entirely. Sometimes that's all you need to do. There's been times I've wanted to bitch at people, and I just don't type.

It is my fault, I can not fall in lane with Riots shit rules. The game is being balanced by silver players. Everyone is toxic as hell(including me) because when we have to tolerate shit from inters, we get banned. Even the smallest thing you say is punishable.

Just because my opinion states that the ban is bs does not mean I have to conform to what you beleive is right. This here is a difference in opinion, I think this ban is laughable. While you are at it, why not ban people for running it down instead of paying attention to people that said what? One bad thing 1 minute at the end of a game, in 50 games.

This is not a case of, NEVERMYFAULT, it is a case of; change your damned ban system. I might have flamed A LITTLE, but that does not justify a perm ban in my eyes.

Do people do not understand the concept of an agreement? You have to agree to the terms of use (which includes acting according to the Summoners Code) before creatin an account. You get caught breaking your side of the agreement, riot has the right to terminate the whole thing, what includes your right to play the game.

If you steal from your office and your boss wants to fire you for it the phrase "X stole more than me!" won't save you! If you commit murder and get caught, saying "Jack the Ripper killed like more than 8 people and was never caught, so I should not get caught either! THAT'S UNFAIR!" won't save you.

It does not matter if someone was even more toxic than you, your cases get treated seperately. "They hit me first" does not make you innocent.

It does not matter wether their agreement looks like it's for Kindergarten or a Courtroom instead of an online game. It is Riot's game, so Riot makes the rules. And if you want to play their game, you have to accept the rules and follow them. If you dislike the game and the company behind it, you should just play another game. DOTA2 is a similar game. Dont't know their ruling, but maybe it is more to your liking and gives you the freedom to live out your constructive nature.

Meanwhile people that do not agree with their bull shit get downvoted to oblivion. Not to mention MOST of these games I had a troll running it down, to all the trolls saying im ruining the teamplay of our team; THE WHOLE TEAM HAD TO DEAL WITH AN INTING PLAYER for 20 minutes?
