I got banned for joking around with a player that I knew.

I apparently got banned for joking around with a guy that I already knew. TheDirtyReader and I were in a match earlier together and we joked about his club tag. Then I met with him later in a different match and we joked about his club tag, as in the text. I wish to see that Riot employees don't see this like I'm calling him names, but as like we we're joking. Please understand.

Here's the thing: You are not the only two people in the game. Depending on the game mode you can have up to 4 other players on the team who have to listen to you two "joke around". They don't know that you're friends with each other so as far as they're concerned you're being incredibly rude and disrespectful to another person. Let this be a wake-up call for you: Next time if you want to joke around like this (tip: don't use zero-tolerance policy phrases like you did here while doing so) then do so either in private chat or in a full pre-made where you know you won't get reported for it. The ban will stay.

But I'm willing to say it is because of a piss poor attitude that your post was deleted.

As I said to Viscious94, I believe that this ban, that I was given, is too long. I was banned last time for being extremely toxic and hurting to players. And I knew why I was banned, and I was banned for 14 days as well as this ban. But for saying the word "%%%" shouldn't get me banned for the same amount of days for the time I was banned. Which where I should've been banned for a lot longer. I have become a ton more understanding of others and I have been more of a sportsmanlike player. And plus, for a misunderstandment from someone, and getting banned for it, the ban should not stay or at least get lessened. It's unfair for the player who has a different story.

Riot has a zero-tolerance policy against things like hate speech, racist comments and racial slurs and the like, hence the harsher punishment for them since you shouldn't need a warning to know that that kind of behavior is unacceptable. Again you are not the only two people in the game. Depending on the game mode you can have up to 4 other players on the team who have to listen to you two "joke around". You can always try filing a support ticket asking for it to be overturned but most likely they'll just repeat what has already been said here.

See I don't understand the ban time or the ban in general. I wasn't inting and I wasn't calling people names. And on top of that I was suggesting that I wouldn't mind if he was gay. So, technically I was incorrectly banned. Two curse words were used in this entire game. I was wrongly corrected by Riot's thought. The ban is stupid on Riot

I've already explained to you why you got banned. If you want to keep arguing about it then just file a Support TIcket, but don't be surprised if they give you the same if not similar answer to the ones I've given you here.

It seems to me like you're making excuses....... if that's the case.. don't. That's not the way to go. It's very important to accept responsibility for our actions no matter what the circumstances.

First, the ban would not be implemented unless there was a record and a history of some previous reports. Second, you are using profanity and language which Riot frowns on - which could also have offended other players present. (Just like one person's smoke is not annoying to another smoker - it can be annoying to others). Third, the report for this game could also include possible references to your play within the game as well.

Some troll on your team probably reported you even though they had no jurisdiction to do so (they could read your chat but doesn't look like you directed anything towards them, just with your friend.)

It's not that bad. Take some time off and make a sincere appeal. What's important is that you really try your best to improve as a player and as a person. I understand your frustrations better than anyone. But I am here to help. You won't find many people on your side here.. With that being said it's important to show compassion to people who are different from ourselves. That doesn't mean you can do whatever you want and expect to get away with it, this is toxic behavior.. however, I believe in you. What level of punishment did you receive?

I was banned for 14 days. And I believe this was way too long. As I have been banned before for 14 days, I was extremely toxic to players and I called them terrible names. But getting banned for not being toxic, and especially for this many days, I think it should be turn down a notch.
