Rampant Toxicity in Nexusblitz

I've had to report people every game for rampant toxicity, whether it's on my team or the enemy team. Is riot going to do anything about this? Clearly their current system isn't working if so many people fall under the radar. It's sucks having a "relaxing gamemode" when everybody in the game is just flaming hard. Or people say "gg get wrecked stupid noobs" at the end of it. Ofc I do my part to report them but I don't think it's working or having any affect.

Honestly the old tribunal was MUCH better for handling things.

but it wasn't though...it was RIDICULOUSLY slower and had a higher % of inaccuracy

that's because they cant ban everyone. it's a culture issue. People are encouraging the behavior and treating it as if it's okay on social media, on streaming sites, and with their friends.

the entire existence of memes is a huge reason why people are so toxic. it promotes insulting based on arbitrary issues.

i could go on, but you get the idea?

For a gamemode that's not supposed to be half serious.

Getting players who go "garbage team", "useless", etc. and who treat it like it's some ranked game or even LCS is just stupid.

My reaction? Well this of course: [zombie-brand-facepalm]

The good news is it's not happening every game. I only got this like twice in like 5-6 games of Nexus Blitz.

Yeeeah last night I had people start to flame and/or int for like five games in a row, it's a goofy game mode where we can try out new champs/silly builds and people were so touchy. If you want to be on a team where everyone's tryharding, just play ranked.

My experience hasn't been that bad, though I do leave allchat muted by default. From my own team I had one game of the five I've played where someone repeatedly spam-linked my Sword of the Divine Malphite build but that was about it.

I dunno about you, but I haven't had a problem with toxicity in Nexus Blitz yet. Nobody really says anything at all, too busy playing the super fast-paced game mode.
