14 day ban for not even being toxic?

I got reported in a game by a troll, and I wasn't even toxic. I have the chat logs right here, rioters can check that I didn't edit a single bit of it.

so I am suspended for that, but the people who actually admitted to trolling and in one insntance, told me to kill myself, are not banned?this is pathetic.

I cannot speak for failures of the system, because I do not have the data or their report history. I do know that you being punished for this is intended functionality.

My suspicion is that the misspelling they used is not something that causes the zero tolerance policy to trigger, so they did not immediately recieve a ban foe their behavior.

This is what I dislike about Riot’s tribunal the most. Responding to trolls is considered toxic behavior. Ie: banning champs because you didn’t get your role, feeding 2 free kills against you; acknowledging not helping you; telling you to kill yourself; and they dont get banned? Riots first response is “YOU were the toxic one” but they fail to realize that their system needs work. If there was an easier way to detect trolls then people wouldn’t be mad when trolls do their shit, because we would know a ban is almost guraenteed in their account.

Not really. Being toxic is considered toxic behavior. There are many ways to respond to trolling that do not involve insults, harassment, excessive accusations, etc.

Takes a shot

Trolling, telling people to kill themselves, inting, flaming, negative behavior, they're all punishable. Doing any of those things as a response to someone doing the same is punishable because you did the thing.

just because no punishment happened the very second you pressed "send report", it doesn't mean that it won't

i saw a post about a month ago where OP got two chatlogs detailing his punishment. i checked. the first log was for his last game but his second log was from 14 games ago

your punishment isn't about what someone else said or did. it's about what YOU said or did

what someone else said or did does not matter as far as your punishment is concerned

when and if they are punished for what they said or did is their problem. not yours

In any ways, it does fall into that category. So does what you said. Said category, by itself, is pretty broad.

edit: its so sad that I got reported by trolls, who in the last 2 games, trolled me because I was using an easy champ. (ranked up an account and played with and against the same people a lot) and actually admitted to trolling.....
