Suspended on wrong term/ unrightfully accused of "elo boosting"

Dear summoners,

My name is Tim and I am fron The Netherlands. I am 20 years old/

I have been playing league of legends since 2012/2013. My ingame username is IBobNL and i play on the EUW server.

I never have had any issues with riot, or with their banning system. I have once been chat restricted because I wasn't feeling so great and i started to flame people.

Now i have been grinding my a.. of this year to reach my platinum goal. When i started playing i ended up in silver the next year i got gold this year i finally reached platinum 5.

I was really happy when i reached my goal, and after i reached my goal i started to play more normal games, try some other champions out and so on. Now the season has ended I received my sivir skin, and the platinum border that i was so happy i achieved.

Now one day ago i received an e-mail from riot after i left a convention(vivarium) stating that I have been suspended duo to "elo boosting" The e-mail said that they have investigated my account and came to the conclusion that someone other then me had boosted me to platinum.

I have never ever did anything like this. Ofcourse i have played duo q with friends, played duo q with people i've met in the game. If i did this then i would accept the punnisment but ITS NOT RIGHT so accuse somebody of elo boosting while this never happend.

I understand riot can make mistakes and people makes mistakes and I really hope this will get fixed. I highly doubt it though.

I have submitted a ticket and i'ts being forwarded to a player behaviour specialist.

I really hope this issue will get resolved, and then i will be very happy. If i doesn't with pain in my heart i will quit the game. because all that i have worked so hard for is then taken away from me. And the MOST IMPORTANT part is.

I will not play a game where you put all your free time and money for skins into and then get wrongfully banned without being helped properly.

I've yet to hear of an MMR Boosting ban being overturned. Best of luck.

Keep in mind that somebody else playing even just one ranked game on your account is considered boosting. You don't have to necessarily have somebody else pull you up a significant amount at all for it to qualify? Have you shared your account info with anybody else who might have played a ranked game on your account, or allowed somebody else to play even one ranked game on it?

Tbh you account will remain banned since I've never seen riot look the other way since their reasoning is always backed by strong evidence (speculations?) Either way if you are innocent then i hope you gain access to ur account again and hopefully never get in this situation again. But once riot bans you then that's that and sometimes they hop on on boards to reply but not all the time.

Sadly I have the same problem. At first I didn't even get an email. I just got banned and I didn't know why. Only after conntacting riot I realized what is going on. They told me that my account is involved with MMR-boosting. But I'm the only one who has ever played this account for the whole time it exists and that's around 3 and a half years. The only thing that could be suspicious is the unstable MMR i had over time. A lot of ups and downs. And maybe me switching roles from time to time and still doing fine. But that can't be a reason to ban someone. After sending around 4 tickets trying to explain that I didn't get boosted in any way they told me they double checked and there is no way in me getting my stuff back becasue they are absulutly sure. Well, it's their game and they can do whatever they want to, even though we are the people they get money from. As you said, disappointment is the thing I feel the most after this. I'm sorry to say this, but I don't thing there is a chance that riot will change their minds. Anyways, I wish you best of luck, maybe it will work.
