Riot's Future with Reporting

I'm curious as to why we should report someone for being toxic or losing us a game when it clearly has no over all impact on the community, the game has no consequences for people who grief games. We have no review team it seems and I'm more than a little miffed as to how this can happen so often. I understand a bad game or two, but having someone throw the game based on a ping and mild criticism is too much to handle. All I'm recommending is placing a deterrent to avoid future behavior. I would prefer to be able to win a game where I tried my hardest instead of losing based on one players grudge.

Sincerely Yours, Kindle

The TL:DR version of all info regarding griefing/trolling/inting punishments being too lax/infrequent is that it's simply harder to detect. Basically - you either have innocent people get punished, or you let more griefers go free.

They're already working on better inting detection. From what I hear, 99% of silvers will get banned. ;D
