Removing chat from game/ allowing ingame chat bans

I think in-game chat should be removed. I think it would make LOL a much more pleasurable experience. I've been playing this game for a few years now, and i'm not the best player by far but the toxicity of in-game chat makes me so mad i want to quit.. I have on a couple of occasions , but i have always come back... I don't mind losing one bit if everyone is playing right and no one is crying or harassing, but the chat makes me feel the same as severe road rage... chat in-client is fine.. and in champ select is great.. but the in-game should be communicated by pings type command only... i know you can mute.. but really you don't need text chat for speaking with random people and having the option makes the game more toxic... if people are serious enough they will have voice chat with their team mates.

Just like road-rage, you are the one doing that to yourself. Chat is just fine or even fun and positive for others. There is no reason to remove the chat system because there a few people who don't handle their own emotions.

Or you could play with friends and other people you know won't rage... You could play aram which usually have a more chill fan base...

There are way too many things that pings won't cover, you can't make suggestion on builds and items for your teammates, you can't really discuss strategy points (like bait a baron, go for the splitpush, ward here)

it may be true that you will not be able to communicate everything through pings, but you have to take the good with the bad and i think the good of removing in game chat would outweigh the bad of it
