You should be able to honor enemies

Okay, so I don't know if anyone has said this before but I have disliked the removal of enemy honoring since the new honor update. I gave it some time to see what I thought and find that it promotes toxicity far more than helps players not be toxic. Don't get me wrong I think the new honor system has made huge improvements in how a team can communicate and help people who are being actually toxic. However too often I see someone get bullied on the enemy team by their teammates and been unable to honor them for keeping their cool. I love the new honor system but I seriously think we should be able to honor 1 teammate and 1 enemy post match.item 3680

Not going to happen. Riot is too obsessed with this 1 honor vote per game idea.

The whole idea with the new honor system is you honor extraordinary behavior. Not just expected behavior. While I can understand the desire to honor enemies, they'll be getting enough honor from their own team if they deserve it.

It's perfectly fine to not honor a teammate. I don't think, however, Riot wants people honoring people who they didn't see the full chat/gameplay of. For all you know, you could be honoring someone super nice in all chat but who was toxic as hell in team chat. Or someone who constantly missed wards in bushes to troll their team, or something like that.

What would you even honor an opponent for? You can't see their chat, only what is said in All Chat.

Just because it doesn't spill out into all chat doesn't mean they didn't tilt or harass teammates.

RIOT stated this will be a future feature.
