Unfriendly to new players/Reporting new players

Alright, I'm a new LoL player but I got reported for "trolling" just because they assume that since I know how to last hit and move around efficiently that I'm just a "experienced" player trolling.

Is a majority of the community like this, or did I just land with an unlucky bunch?

Please dont waste your time listening to these people. I have played sinse season 3 and all I have seen is the toxicity and hatred of this community. It is Not just a "small portion" of the community, but its a much higher percentage. These people are only concerned with having everyone else play to thier level. Whether its normals or ranked this community is so toxic and hateful they can report someone for "Trolling" or "Intentional feeding" when they fail to come out of a 5v1 ambush without a scratch. If you die more than 0/1 then they will classify it as "intentional feeding" and tell you how you need to go kill yourself.

The community is ruled by is most toxic and most hateful. I would say find another game Like Smite, heroes of the storm, or paragon (coming soon). I play smite myself and find its much more welcoming of new players. This community will label you a troll for not going 28/0 on a new champ 5 minutes after its release. The community consists of spoiled children drunk on thier own narcissism, and somehow not breaking thier arm as they pat themselves on the back. While there is toxicity standard, League's community is by far the most hateful, the most petty, and the most egotistical, self-centered I have ever come across.

So Yes, The community is defined by its majority, and its majority is a seething pile of toxic nuclear fallout, Spoiled children happy to throw a tantrum if you dont cater to thier "I'm The Best" Mentality. And the sad thing is these petty children can easily report you and get you banned if you dont cater to thier ego. Its why I have been looking for replacements for league myself. But I am happy to warn others so they dont end up wasting too much time on this community.

As I said, as an alternative, I would reccomend SMITE. Its much more welcoming of New players. And the way its run means it doesnt have the "Chernobyl" levels of toxic radiation from spoiled kids with overinflated egos.

It happens in every game with low level characters, or, in this case, accounts. I would tell you to do 2 things. Start each game by pressing enter, /mute all, enter. This way you won't see the chat, most likely they won't have much productive to say. The second thing I would suggest is check out https://www.reddit.com/r/summonerschool This is a place dedicated for new players, often times there will be someone who is willing to teach you the game and even play with you. Best of luck on the Rift!

30%-40% of the community will be an asshole sometimes. Most people remember those game more than good games, however. I recommend playing with friends in a call, its a lot more fun and reduces the amount of random people you have to deal with.
