Wrongfully Banned For "Third Party Use"

My friend has access to some of my alt accounts, mostly low level ones. He scripted on them. <removed by moderation>

All accounts were punished for third party use. He last accessed them over a month ago. He scripts on brand and xerath mainly. And 100% only in the mid lane does he script, as he says scripts anywhere else are pretty much useless until late game. The issue is that my account that he does not have access to, (JNR) the first account I ever made, I've spent 1400$ on it, It's my life, it got banned for the same thing. "Third party use" Riot support has banned me from live chat for not accepting the fate of the account, but how would you feel to do jail time for a crime you didn't commit? That's basically what is happening here, except it's result of a flawed system or lack of care from riot support. I understand that scripting is bad, which is why I've never cared for it, it also defeats the purpose of a video game, just like call of duty cheats, no one ever liked that. And even the people who did it, ended up growing bored of it because it's not fun. I don't know why I'm posting here, I have never posted in the forums before. I have had banned accounts for toxicity in chat, which I'm not proud of, but it was my toxicity that caused that, and those accounts were rightfully punished for my bad actions, but I am so mad that I have lost JNR for scripting, but I have never scripted, and scripts have never been used on that account. Unless I logged into my account on my friends computer and he had GoS in the background, which I'm not sure if I have ever done that, but it's possible. But I know in my heart that I never scripted or played a game with scripts on. I know some of the community will think I deserve JNR to be banned just because I've shared other accounts that were then scripted on, but I honestly don't see it that way, I'm hoping somehow a riot employee sees this and looks deeper into it and actually believes me, or finds proof that backs this up, or maybe just some input from the community. I'm not in the mood to argue with anyone about "oh he's lying", or "the typical excuse" Because you can say whatever you want, but I know I didn't do anything wrong. Thanks, Justin

PS: Why am I being downvoted? Because I'm human and make mistakes? People on here act like they're such angels that haven't ever done something wrong. I shouldn't have let him use the accounts to script, but this post has nothing to do with those accounts. It has to do with my account that had nothing to do with the scripting he was doing on those accounts.

Normally I'd suggest submitting a Support Ticket if your account is compromised, but it seems you already have, and discovered that Riot cannot help you. Account sharing is not allowed per the Terms of Use partially because of situations like these where other players perform illegal actions on them and get it banned; you are responsible for keeping your account safe, and when you allow someone else to use the account you are accountable for their behavior. It is unfortunate, but Riot does not remove punishments like this because the accounts were willingly handed over.

So are those scripts on your computer or his computer?

If it's on his computer, have you ever logged in from his computer?

The client scans for malicious 3rd party programs every time you log in, so if you've logged in from a computer that has scripts, then it is already deemed guilt.

It is a hard and fast rule that you should never give another person access to your accounts. Even if they are friends or family it can open them up to risk of compromise or banning. In the future I would avoid ever doing this with any game you play no matter how well you think you know the person.

It has always been a rule in online games that they cannot tell you how exploits are discovered because it would allow them to more easily be circumvented. I guarantee you that they do not ban accounts willy nilly and they take a lot more time than some companies to make sure their decisions are as accurate as possible.

At this point I would suggest you take some time off from league, give some single player games a try. http://store.steampowered.com/app/698780/agecheck This is an amazing game that came out recently on steam and it is free as well. Enjoy some time off from league and come back in a few weeks and give it a fresh start and see if you still enjoy it.

Might I ask, why in the hell would you willingly let your "friend" script on one of your accounts? As DTN said, there is little recourse beyond opening a support ticket, and it looks like they gave you an answer (though not to your liking).

Cheating of any kind is punished extremely harshly, most often leading to a ban of the account(s) that were used. It appears that Riot also has a means to detect any additional accounts that are owned by the owner of the banned account as well.

In all honesty, Riot is not the target of your anger or sadness, here. Those feeling should be directed toward your "friend".

(I used "friend" in quotes, because a true friend would not put you at risk with their behavior. This "friend" was likely using you to make sure his/her accounts were not banned when banhammer eventually came swinging.)

Dude your friend mustved been a horrible person getting you banned like that. Honestly, report to riot about your friends account, and said that it was him that used scripts. Just back it up with actual proof, and hopefully, you should get a result...

Honestly man, the world is full of fakes, hopefully you get your acc back
