I just played a ranked game where all 5 members of the enemy team bought items, invaded, got into combat, used 4+ summoner spells, OUR team got first blood, and their mid laner (Who blew flash) was able to leave the game and give the rest of their team a free re-make. How is this possible? I have the screenshots and videos to prove it.

Please tell me this is an exploit and not an intended revision to the re-make system. I've already submitted a ticket.

As you can see....SHE FLASHED during the fight. We then got first blood, she left the game and her team was able to remake without her.

This kind of thing should just result in a forfeit. Person abandoning the game gets double (or some other value extra) LP loss, rest of the team gets the regular loss. Denying the team that has 5 players their win is just silly, but expecting the other team to play with one less player is also ridiculous.

Am I the only one that read this and thought this mid laner sounded like the ultimate bro? That person had nothin to game but to help out their teammates while sacrificing themselves in a game that potentially could have still be won but just would have been harder. I myself seem to get the other kinds, the kinda that cant ACTUALLY connnect but reconnect just enough times to make sure we cant remake while they stay afk at fountain until we lose game.

I don't think this is anything to be alarmed about. If it's one thing you can count on, it's that 95% of the human beings are selfish as fuck. Disconnecting from a game results in a loss for the one disconnecting. That means they lose LP and also risk a LeaveBuster punishment. A person that does this so his team doesn't suffer a loss is a supremely rare specimen of selfless human being. I think we can all agree that this is not a common trait among the player base. There is no gain for the one doing this. This community isn't that caring about each other.

OK this is actually working as intended.

The leaver didn't die.
They were not queued with the person who died.

In order for this to be a severe issue you would need a player willing to take a leave buster punishment for complete strangers. Lets be honest this is going to be a very rare. If riot wants they could also increase punishments on leavers who leave in the first 3 mins. Also knowingly abusing the system can also net a punishment as abuse and could lead to perma bans even discounting the leave buster.

While this definitely sucks for your team. I don't think many people are willing to risk losing their account permanently for a complete stranger.

my assumption would be that they dc'd once before the fight, so when they left it re-triggered the remake possibility
