So, permanently banned for this? I got THREE trolls in a ranked game. One (Rumble) buys 6x Tear of the Goddess and starts intentionally feeding, then goes AFK. One (Vel Koz) spends the game flaming literally everyone and refusing to help. (i.e. during a "teamfight," would walk away and start dance-taunting). The other (Nunu) does the same dance-taunt thing outside of "teamfights," intentionally feeds some deaths, and then AFKs. Screenshot

So I got a perma-ban notice, it has exactly one chat log on it:

Explain to me why this is perma-ban worthy. I'm not allowed to be upset that people are literally trolling in my ranked games?

Fun fact: The rumble did not get punished for buying 6 tears and afking. (He has 2 games after this one).

Well played Rito: Ban the guy who tries to win, and let the trolls get away :D (But ye, probably we all know the Rito logic: It was just a bad game.)

idk man, it doesnt seem like much but u dont get banned for one offence.... i know ive been perma banned 4 times. they give u plenty of lead way to fix ur mistakes. but if it was ur first offence then just email riot, from what i understand theyre actually pretty fair about things like this.

It's possible that you were punished for calling for reports against others. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but...

  1. Calling for reports is unnecessary, because it only takes your 1 report of the player to flag that game for the system to review the player. Multiple reports don't stack. And false reports are thrown out. So there's no reason at all to try to get anyone else to help report a player who you feel deserves to be reported.

  2. Calling for reports, if done repeatedly could be considered harassment, and thus can sometimes wind up being punished if you do it repeatedly.

And lastly, if you came off of a 14-day ban and have not regained honor standing yet then you would have been on very thin ice, meaning that any slip up - yes even one as small as calling for reports against trolls - could result in an escalation to the final level of punishment (permaban).

I don't see anything in that, which I would consider ban worthy. Riot has a problem with people asking for reports, though, for some mysterious reason they consider it harrassment. Typical Riot nonsense, ignore trolls who actually ruin the game, punish people oversensitively for words, because that's easier to monitor...

Did you have a punishment prior to this? if so, was it a 14 day ban?

EDIT: You appear to have a 2 week gap after your 2/23 game and your 3/10 game... if that 2 week gap was a 14 day temp ban, then your reform card would have told you that your NEXT punishment for whatever infraction you had, would be elevated to a permaban.

Nope you arent allowed to be upset because riot is legit a terrible fucking company. There ban system is legit a joke, cater to the special snowflakes and if you troll youre fine no one cares apparently.

Just going to play devils'riots advocate here (this does not mean I agree with their ruling):

  1. If someone trolls you, simply report them after the game, don't ask others to do the same. This is against the rules, and increases tention between teammates.
  2. Looking at the scores and chat in the screenshot, the only two players in that team that broke the rules are Vel'koz and... well... you. In this screenshot I don't see proof of either Nunu or Rumble trolling, and looking at their level I don't believe they went afk in this game. Not to mention, their scores don't imply inting, nor does the chat.

Riot Support responded to my ticket and said that, "it would be unfair to your fellow Summoner for us to unban the negativity observed. Especially those who have been exposed to it in game."

Here are the 3 specific parts of the chat log that Riot Support said are perma-ban-worthy:

That's right:

  • If you troll and someone asks you what your problem is, get them perma-banned.

  • If you troll and someone asks what you are doing, get them perma-banned.

  • If you tell the enemy team that your teammates are trolling, and ask them to report their behavior, you can be perma-banned.
