Second time I've been reported for offensive language and I haven't said anything in /all. Only the opposing team ever reports me and I've drawn the conclusion to the use of the mastery emote I like to bind to my R (for fun), and even then emote spamming isn't even toxic behavior.
EvilDustMan2 votesNo, riot doesn't check the reports before the warning. You just get the warning. People wanted to know when they got reported, so now you find out. Only, it tells you EVERY time you get reported. So you have to use your judgment. If you said absolutely nothing, you aren't going to get punished.

Is it only chat? I blinded mastery emote to my R and I play a lot of phoenix 
so it pops up a lot, is the emote spamming still punishable?

Personally I think it makes you a turbo-doucher, but I'm not sure if it's punishable.

That just weird because I'm not really taunting them as a way of "haha you suck" but just find it cool to use. They can just mute me to make it invisible (which a lot of people have done to stop the emote) and no one ever asks me to stop doing it, they just /all "report udyr, so troll" at the end of the game.

i agree that taunting is highy bm but why in gods sake would they create one and bind it to /taunt..... just silly to me.

Lol then why make the taunt emote and the mastery icon? Are you one of those butthurt people that will report for something as stupid as that? If it was ban-able they wouldn't have added it in

Regardless, I would have thought the ridiculousness of the "using the taunt emote even once" statement showed I was being flippant. I guess sarcasm is lost on denser Summoners.
