League of Legends "community"

I just want to take a moment to recognize how disgusting this community is. Now before I continue I know that not everyone is like this, but there are enough of you that are like this for me to make this discussion. What bothers me about this game is how people are so willing to go out of their way to screw someone over for no meaningful reason, other than they don't agree with your play style or are throwing a temper tantrum because someone else wanted the lane they "called". I think this community really needs to ban together and find a way to fix this. We all have one thing in common-we LOVE League of Legends. So why can't we try and make it better? Why do we need to rely on Riot to do this?

My suggestion would be to have something flag during picking when someone does something like take smite after someone else has already taken it. If this flag occurs, and someone dodges, they are not punished and possibly have a loss of LP because some player decided to troll because he didn't get his position. I know for a 100% fact that every person who has played more than 20 ranked games has seen this. And it is truly a sad and disgraceful fact.

This may not be a feasible solution but I am pleading that we can come together as a community and find some kind of solution here.

Video games should be a neutral place for everyone.

If you don't like what they say then put them on ignore and that's the end of it.

I'm not a supporter of racism or slurs or anything of the sort, but I do believe in freedom of speech especially as an anonymous person in a video game.

Stop trying to control other people through your victim mentality.

No one forces you to play this game.

Everyone should be able to say whatever they want whether you like it or not.

The flag system could probably be abused in some way, sorry.

I know what your saying, everyone loves league, but it's not just league, every community has bad seeds. I don't think there is much that can be done about them but to weed them out, and riot tries to do that every day as they ban people.

Worry not about the role thing! When the new draft pick comes live everyone will get a role assigned to them after they choose a preferred role. and from my experiences playing it on the PBE, almost every time we got our primaries

(Except for when me and a friend duoed and we both chose bot for our primaries.. )

In this case it decided to choose for me, my secondary of support (Supports are rare) because someone chose her secondary of TOP so She went bot, than we got a mid and jungle primary.

You get a primary and secondary pick. Make sure you know both roles well.

the roles go as follows. Top Jungle Mid Bot (marksman or adc, but they changed it out for "bot") Support Fill.

Say you could go any role, but you love Top, then you put primary as "Top" and Secondary as "Fill"

Me on the other hand, I can't jungle. So I'm going to choose my 2 favorite roles "Bot" and "Support"

I don't think we all "LOVE" league of legends. I frequently question why people queue for games when they run from 5v1. There are clearly a lot of people terrified of pvp who play League.
