Trolling in Ranked

Hey everyone, with the ranked season coming to an end soon I decided to queue up for ranked to climb a bit higher before Season 8. Everything was normal until we got to ban. I had shown my main and favorite jungler, Kayn. However, some 20 seconds later I noticed that a teammate had banned him. When I questioned his/her actions, they simply remarked "is op". I decided since it was ranked to keep it professional and give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they just didn't want to risk a Kayn on the enemy team. After that, they locked Nami in the mid lane (they were not swapping for the support role, we already had a sona) and told us "we win". I decided to LP dodge since losing 4 lp is better than 12 or so, but it still is a pain to wait 5 minutes for my next queue AND lose lp for someone else's irresponsibility. I don't know if in ranked queues there should be an option to "kick" players that are supposedly trolling, something like a vote system maybe? Or at least change things up so you can't ban champions that your team is showing. Let me know what you guys think.

I Absolutely agree with this because that has happened to me almost every game...... i deeply agree a 3/5 vote system to kick a trolling player from queue, Or i believe an LP loosing system from KDA should be applied....... because when we get in game i always get those hags who go 0-10 first 10 mins....... how is that our fault? for their actions? 17 lp is quiet a lot loosing more lp for games of peoples mistakes? Thresh

yes, I'm not sure about losing lp for feeding but I feel there should be a vote before or after to determine if they are trolling. Even if riot may have to do a slight investigation or even over multiple games anything would be great. I hope they see this post and come up with a solution

She has CC out the wazoo, decent wave clear and poke, and her sustain is aight.

yes but shes still not meta and that's not exactly what ! want on my team when my elo is on the line, and It's not really the fact that he played Nami mid, its that he said "we win" and banned my champ that made it obvious he was trolling. Without those circumstances I would not be here, but I appreciate you defending him, as I see lots of people complaining on forums over dumb stuff like off meta picks haha

You cannot report, ban, punish, or get angry with off meta picks.

He said "we win" because maybe he thought the enemy would get flustered? Maybe they're a decent nami mid? Maybe he really liked your team comp vs theirs? I don't know.

But you can't honestly call that trolling, I doubt "we win" was in a trolling manner if he just said that when he picked. And if you dodged because of it, the punishment for doing so lies solely on your shoulders.
