First offense in long time, instant to 15 game, I calmed down and only went off once this game, and after that i stayed out of chat mostly, and i normally never am in chat. I've seen my friends flame ALL game and not get banned, but I flame once and it's a 15 day ban, how is this fair? How is this justice. I would've learned my lesson from a chat restrict, but this just made me so frustrated!

Certain things, such as hate speech that you used, can escalate you directly to a 14 day ban off the bat. Due to daylight savings time, some 14 day bans are displaying as 15 day - but they are the same length.
