Friend's 6 yr. old account was perma-banned without warning

He is not a toxic player, has never received so much as a chat ban. His account was banned for "3rd party programs and spam", which most likely means his account was hacked.

$1000+ spent on RP, years of playing everyday. Riot has stated in multiple e-mails that there is "nothing they can do and the account is gone." His username prior to the ban was "Thunderkak" He is incredibly depressed about it and trying to level an alt account (which has no skins or champions on it) Is it true that there really is nothing Riot can do?

you can get him to ask support to forward him to the fraud department, see if they can solve anything.

Of course, if he did script (or let someone use his account and they scripted), then don't bother wasting everyone's time.

Unless riot made a mistake which is possible( very very very low chance) the ban is forever

The money spent means nothing to anyone other than your friend Sorry

Skins don't enhance the gameplay they are cosmetic upgrades Best bet if you want this to go far start a subreddit and get it known far and wide

Best bet is to work with riot games and see what they're able to do on their end to prove a hack occured rather than the friend scripting

I just want to piggy back on what others have said.

If they are innocent, they need to remain vigilant.

Riot does make mistakes. However, they do not correct those mistakes in a speedy fashion.

if you are in fact innocent, you have a chance of recovery.

if they (I think it's you posting for your other main account) have been caught for third party scripts...

might be from mousing programs that offer scripted button presses (aka SetPoint macros from logitech) or something you done that Riot spotted and nailed you for.

If you have been using third party programs...

Sorry, but you are finished....here.
