Does reporting a player actually result in anything?

I've been an LoL player for about a year now and it seems like normal queue is a joke. Some games are pretty balanced but more often then not it is a landslide victory (or loss) and this is usually caused by one or more players feeding. My question to you Riot is...What are you guys doing about it? Does the report a player actually do anything? Because it seems like these players don't care that they went 0 and 12 on a Draven. And I know that you're thinking "oh he just had a bad game".....0 and 12 is not a bad game, that is intentional. In my opinion a player should be allowed say 10 reports for the same thing within a months time. If they go over that limit then the account should be suspended for a period of time. If they come back from that suspension and get another 10 reports then delete that persons account. Maybe these trolls will actually not want to troll any more and play the game instead of ruining it for everyone else. It's gotten to the point for me that I don't even like looking at the LoL icon on my desktop because I know that it will only result in frustration and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it, so I will not be playing any more.

So since 0-12 isn't a bad game im guessing 0-11 is the same? If that's the case are you admitting to inting in this game?

Depends on how many reports the player gets to be honest. If he did it intentionally in your gsme but ended up having good games the rest of the time there's a chance he may not be impacted by the report

From what I have seen, most bans are for being toxic in chat. The others (except using 3rd party programs) seem hit or miss, especially inting, since it's hard to prove.

Even 0:12 can be bad game, especially in low bronze. Actually in MOST cases 0:12 in low bronze IS a bad game. Because , basically , intentional feeders are players who can play well but dont want to.

"allowed say 10 reports for the same thing " That seems like the most easily abused system ever.

And to the question prior, yes reports DO do something IF its a legitimate report

yes it does. but typically it takes more then one bad game or bad experience to be punished.

those that are reported are "flagged" and then the system then starts to look for a frequency of reports over a certain amount of games. and if there is a high frequency of reports action is taken if to be found reports arent false.

however one incident can lead to punishment right away.

i just had a notification the other day that a player i report was punished. you only get those messages if it was your report that triggered the punishment at that time. just cuz you dont see it or get the notification dont mean the player wasnt warned or punished, they are at least "flagged" by the system and are monitored for behavioral issues.
