Champ Selection Reports
TL:DR Add champ select chat log to reports when players are reported.
In a lot of my games over the course of 4 years I have ran into a lot of people who say toxic things in champ select and I have no real evidence when I report them after the match. I take a screen shot of their summoner name and some of the things they say that are completely toxic and verbally berating before I even get into the match but that means in order for me to submit evidence for this players abuse I have to go an extra mile by taking a picture and posting several to a program such as paint, saving it onto an online image sharing site such as imgur or photobucket, and then submitting it in a ticket that requests I email their support or use the "in game report function" which doesn't provide the evidence I require or allow me the opportunity to provide the evidence to punish the offender. Not only do I have to go the extra mile to report this person I have no guarantee that this persons offense will get noticed in a timely manner if it even gets noticed at all.
Please Riot, expand on the existing report function. I recommend expanding the chat log to the picks and ban phase before players even join the lobby. The lobby may take an extra second or two to load but this ensures all players connect evenly. This will also eliminate the gap in a problem I've frequently ran into and improve on the league experience by forcing people to be more cognizant about the things they say that could lead to "tilt" and poor decision making in the match such as intentional feeding or leaving the game.
With the integration of dynamic queue this will also give the opportunity to completely chat restrict players in all instances since players are no longer required to communicate their desired lanes/roles through chat. This is an excellent business layout as it allows these toxic players to keep spending money on an account they value while at the same time dissuading them from starting a new account to verbally abuse others as they have an account emotionally and financially invested in.
