Leaver Buster Timer

The only concern that I have is that I hadn't left a game in about 2 months or so. I got a 5, then 10, then 20 minute low-priority queues for leaving games. I understand that it is my fault for breaking the rules. However, keep in mind that I hadn't left a single game (that I can remember) in 1 - 2 months, and for the first time leaving in that much time I immediately get 5 low-priority queues for 20 minutes each?

I'm not asking for an UnBan all I'm doing is questioning the logic behind it. Because for the past few months every time I get hit with Leaver Buster I get nothing but 20 minute low-priority queues. I don't even remember the last time I had a 5 minute timer (besides dodging champ select).

Can someone inform me on how that works? Shouldn't the timer (in my opinion) eventually drop back down to 5 minutes to keep the system clean?

I could be wrong and the system may just already be flawless and all I'm doing is being a troll. But I don't think that I should still have a 20 minute Leaver Buster after two months of being clean. That's just my opinion.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to hear me out. Warmless Regards.

EDIT: For those of you wondering why I leave so many games is because I have a rather stuck up family that enjoys wrong timing. That and my father does not know that I can't pause online games.

The old "you can't pause online games", oh parents when will you learn. I'm not sure about the leaver buster system, but I know for offensive language reports it goes in these tiers

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day ban perm ban

As you keep on offending, your punishment gets more severe, I would assume that leaver buster would be the same or similar. For being toxic it takes 3 months to move down 1 tier of punishment. Let's say you just had a 25 game chat restriction, it would take you 6 months of keeping your nose clean to go back down to "normal". Again I would think that leaver buster would be similar.

It actually does drop back down to 5 minutes, but it's not dependent on a set amount of time like the chat related punishments are. Instead, it's dependent on how many games you are able to play without leaving.

The exact amount of games needed to get back to a good standing with the system is unknown, but I'm fairly certain it would take hundreds of games to do so.

It does go down but it is done by completing games without leaving not any amount of time. There is a notification that pops up when your status improves.

Also if you think your parents might be at all receptive you should have them read this: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/bEhf1EPt-open-letter-to-parents-of-league-of-legends-players

I swear to God, my children will never have to use the "you can't pause online games" excuse. If I tell them to do something in the middle of the game, no problem, it can wait until after the game is over.

But if they dare try to start another one after that before doing what I said, I'll kick them off mid game, ground them (woulda been a spanking, if I already wasn't planning on keeping them off social games like League until they're too old to be spanked..), and get them banned on top of that.

I don't know how old you are, but the deal I made with my parents to be able to play D&D was that my every other week game was a scheduled thing. If there was something that needed to be done, they had to give me time to do it before Saturday or let it wait until Sunday.

My advice is to try and set aside similar time with your family.
