Appeal for PermaBan

I recently got my account PermaBanned with the reason that I was too toxic. Honestly, I really was. If I'm not in a call with my friends to tell me to calm down and stop typing I will start to rage and be toxic. I did read a post that had quotes from Lyte talking about how if you are permabanned that your money or time doesn't matter, just find a different game. When it comes to it really.... I don't think I will get my account back. There is still a point in trying. If I don't end up getting my account back, then I will go make a smurf or find a different game. I hope that someone from Riot will overlook this post and get back to me on the subject. I will wait however long, just for a response.

The best way to get in contact with Riot for an appeal would be by submitting a support ticket, though I feel obligated to let you know that unless the ban was a mistake on their part it won't be lifted.

I'd suggest getting an early start on your smurf or finding a new game. You knew you were toxic, your friends knew you were toxic, you had 3 chances to reform, you refused, so, yeah there's really no point in trying.

I don't think i got 3 chances though. I got a 2 week ban and i think that was it. I wasn't informed of anything.... They only emailed me receipts and the logs.

Yup.

INSTANT FEEDBACK SYSTEM FAQ PUNISHMENTS GENERALLY FOLLOW A BASIC ESCALATION PATH:

First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction
Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction
Third Offense: Two Week Suspension
Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

However, it is possible to skip to a Two Week or Permanent suspension based on the severity of the behavior in the game. Excessive negative behavior can result in a Two-Week or Permanent suspension at any time without having a chat restriction on the account.

Well I didnt get the 25 game one. Whatever your opinion is. Keep it an opinion. I am aware that I am toxic, however I still have hope to get my account back.

It's not an opinion. There is a link there to the source, which is RIOTs support site. The only way you can skip tiers is by being extra toxic, and they do not revoke bans that are not in error. Same article:

Remember that you are fully responsible for all activity on your account, and if suspensions or bans are incurred, we will not be able to modify them.

I did give my account info to a friend and I dont think that he would do anything to mess with it. So maybe it was him and you wouldnt know.

Account sharing is also a punishable offense so I would not rely on that as a defense, or do it again in the future.

Alright. It wasn't really to do anything... I gave it to him for a bit cause I was out of town and he didn't have much to do.

Tiers are skipped if they discover the next tier is not a fitting enough punishment for your behavior. In that case, they jump up a tier.

I still say GL on getting your account back but 99.9% chances are the ban is not going to be lifted.

You could restart w/ a fresh account and hopefully don't run into trouble (by meeting the expected behavior standards ofc).

There's no reason to be nice to someone who got a perma due to toxicity, as you're a proven jerk. Frankly, whether you think I'm nice or not, I'm right and I have the documentation to prove it. You're not getting your account back, period.

You don't work at Riot. How would you know? You aren't showing sportsmanship based off this thread. And I am being nice now. There are things that cause the rage. Its not from me being who I am. Sure it shows that there is an incredibly thin chance of me getting my account back but, at this point, you aren't any better than me bud.

If you would tilt because someone pointed out that you're wrong, provided documentation of it, and you just don't want to admit your wrong, then you have little hope of reforming IMO. Good luck. You'll need it.

There is always a reason to not appear at their level and treat them the way they would you if the situations were reversed; that'd make you exactly like them! What I mean is: Riot expects respect out of all their players towards all their players and banned or not, these are all still players. Just as toxic/troll players in game aren't a good excuse to not be nice.

I just got done watching the Daredevil S2 episode where Matt argues w/ The Punisher on their respective brands of justice so that's flowing through atm.

IT isn't so much that your documentation is wrong, its that I wasn't sure which 3 strike system you were talking about. While yes, that three strike system does exist, that does not mean you cannot reform more than 3 times. I remember back in season 2, they were talking about a guy that had been banned 14 times, without getting a permanent ban.

This was partially because of how many games he played. The sheer number of games he played reformed him in between every ban.

The system was different back then. This system has been in place less than a year, so stories from Seasons 1-4 and even early S5 are completely irrelevant.

Not necessarily, since the 3 hit ban system you are talking about is for a non-reformed player. It doesn't mean you couldn't be hit with chat ban, reform, chat ban, reform, chat ban multiple times. They never actually put up a stance on that, because reformed is almost the equivalent of never having been banned.

The best you can do at this point is either bow out gracefully or make a new account and start fresh, from one banned player to another. Dwelling on it does you little good.

Believe me, I'm STILL dwelling on mine in the inside, and it's not healthy. I've been sticking around this board trying to pass on advice just to try and make myself feel better, and it's only somewhat working. I've gained too much from this game to just leave it, but at the same time grinding a new account is very daunting when I'd had mine for ~3 years.

Like I've said in all my responses to ban threads, take the time to reflect on why you act 'toxic'. I did and learned some useful things about myself that I can try to apply, or pass on to other people.

A 2 week ban should've been a big warning sign already. It means your account is one step away from a permanent ban. You seem to be aware of your attitude, which is good. Acknowledgement is the first step. Now you just need to consciously keep it in mind and try to be a better player, and person. Don't expect your account back. But take action to make sure it won't ever be an issue again. You can do it!

Thanks! I really am prepared to make a new account. I know I am EXTREMELY toxic but. If i got it back I would not be Toxic at all. I'd chill out and learn. I'm not the brightest.
