Riot Staff and why your accounts aren't safe!

Hey guys, this'll be my first and last post. Alright, so I'll start off with the basics of my experience. My main account itself is 4 years old or close to it, been playing on the same rig the entire time with no account issues. Then, I create a PBE account, play it for a while, enjoy it, take a slight few months break and come back to play a couple of games (maybe around 6 in total upon returning) when suddenly I'm greeted to an error message saying that my account had been locked for suspicious activity and would be unlocked when contacted by the account owner. So I submit a support ticket only to be responded to with a "Oh we banned your account for 3rd party stuff. Whoopsies!" (Obviously sarcastic and not word for word, but literally the outcome of the response.) so obviously, I'm a little pissed. Same rig, main account is fine but all of a sudden I play random games on the PBE server and now I'm cheating? So I send my frustrated messages, demanding proof of these accusations to which they couldn't give any and refused to push the matter further, closing my ticket and sending me on my way. The whole thing was shady as fuck, personally I think PBE servers may be full and that they're just kicking people off at random for room, that or they're no longer taking reports seriously and just ban at random. Both are serious offenses to the relationship between staff and client. Guys, please understand that this game and it's community are dying. The mods cannot be trusted and will evidently screw you over the first chance they get, no matter how much you've spent on this game. Please heed my warnings and at least consider switching. League of Legends is not unique and there are many better alternatives who have support that will help you and not treat you like an angry child while they smile and nod. We all deserve better, and their staff obviously doesn't deserve your hard earned money. For those that stay, I hope you don't have a similar experience and I sure as hell hope none of you ever have to deal with the people that respond to support tickets. Good luck, everyone.

The game isn't dying because player support wouldn't give you exact details about what 3rd-party programs you used on your PBE account, lmao. Game is, in fact, going strong, thanks.

Riot cannot tell you what programs were used since that would open the opportunity for the people making them to figure out how they're being detected. From this is looks like someone found out your password and logged into your account.

There's really no evidence that League is dying. Is it perhaps not as top of the pack as it once was? Sure -- but that's natural for a gaming titan. New games come and go, and popular appeal comes and goes, but it's really only an issue once you start falling further than the top 10-15, and League is definitely still in that pack.

The mods cannot be trusted and will evidently screw you over the first chance they get, no matter how much you've spent on this game.

Well, that's Player Support, not mods -- I'm a mod, and we're not Riot employees. Player Support also definitely do double check and triple check their data. They don't reveal their proof, certainly, because if they do that's giving people who develop that software too many clues on how to avoid it for the future.

Now, it can happen that there is a software on your machine that is triggering their third-party flags that you didn't intentionally run. Ultimately, that's a really unfortunately situation, but not one either party can really do something about -- if they have it flagged as malicious interference with League's code, there's no way you can prove it wasn't intentional, and they can't really take the chance that it's just an accident. It's a rough situation.

The words "Petulant Child" come to mind... "I don't agree with what they said, so this game is trash." (Obviously sarcastic and not word for word, but literally the outcome of the response.)

No game company in the world would ever give you proof of you using 3rd party cheat software. Them showing their proof would make you/the cheat creators able to bypass their security/checks.

What you need to do, is not demand proof of the 3rd party usage, but to ask them to forward you to the fraud department and ask them if any suspicious activity happened.

If so, were the use of 3rd party programs used during that period.

If there was a hack, and the dude use scripts to boost people, then your main account should get unbanned. Of course, if you sold the account or let someone else use it, then it's an entirely different matter and if that's the case, your account will stay suspended.

Alternatively, you can believe what you believe in and think that support won't do anything else for you. Maybe because you are guilty of selling the account.
