Permanent Ban

I have seen several "Permanent Ban" discussion posts and each one has the person who was banned ask simple questions like 'Is it forever?' which admittedly isn't the smartest question but each post has toxic responses and people linking things like the definition of permanent. How can this community think that the judgments are fair when the people who ask for help get ridiculed. This system is broken as all hell but no one lifts a finger to change it. The banning system is like the damn Gestapo, you step out of line and you get punished, no trial or jury just an automated punishment based on word patterns and troll reports. Oop 3 people disliked the way you played and you said a bad word, suspension. No chance to defend yourself or even have the other half of the conversation. When half the players in the game are goading you or egging you on and you retaliate you've already lost. You are outnumbered and there is no one on your side. Certainly not the robot word finder. Mob Mentality, hmmm he's making fun of this guy I should too. Then another and another. So we're supposed to block everyone so that we don't argue. But how will we know what else they are saying about us? Getting together to vote against us at the end. Without the full chat log we have no ground to stand on. I for one think this is totally unfair and unjust. Why is there no alternative to this system? Mob mentality. This is how it is and it's good because riot says its good. Please Riot change your broken punishment system. OR continue taking our money till we get angry enough in a game to say something then ban us either way works for you.

Punishments only occur if you act like a tool in a large portion of games. Like, a significant number. I probably have deserved a punishment in the past but have never got one so I know that you need to go pretty far over the line before getting one. I personally think it should be slightly harsher, definitely not easier.

The bot is driven by reports. It's a very complex bot. People who get reported but aren't caught by the bot are manually reviewed. Saying one bad word isn't going to trigger a punishment and three reports count the same as one. You just don't really get how the system works.

Because your complaints are invalid? The system works fine.

Remove entirely? Yeah, let's have trolls in ranked and not have them punished. Good idea![zombie-brand-facepalm]

They were given chat restrictions & 14 days suspension before, so stop with this "no warning" bullsh't.
