Whats up with the tribunal??

Why is it always down for maintenance? how are people being properly punished when they are reported if the tribunal isn't operational. will it ever be back up?

They're punished by an automated system. And I honestly hope it stays that way. League is full of petty and vindictive people, literally the last people anybody should want being their jury.

so what if me and my premade team didnt like one person and we all report them for no reason. then they get a ban cuz its automated ban system. doesnt that seem flawed to you?

That's why it doesn't work that way.

1 report is all it takes to flag a game for further review. Additional reports don't do anything, so that solo player is weighted the same as your entire premade. A punishment only follows if the system verifies that their action was uncalled for, and even then there's a bit of wiggle room for "bad days" factored in.

this is only half true. multiple reports wont determine whether someone gets punished but CAN determine whether your account gets reviewed and the amount of wiggle room for "bad days" is negated by people spamming your account with reports, what ends up happening, is even though the false reports are ignored as false reports, your account is put under surveilence, to see if you might just be evading the system, and then BOOM you actually get a real report and BANNED

Well, fortunately that's not how it works. First off, premade reports do not stack at all. Secondly, the system actually checks to verify the reports; if a player has not done anything wrong then the report will have no effect, and the person that made it will even lose report weight. You are never punished just because you got reported a lot.

how can an automated system determine if you deserve a ban if reports dont stack. thats what i dont get

Pretty easily. Did you say anything in chat you shouldn't have? Did you say "Lolzzzz going to feed each of your lanes then AFK!!!" then proceed to go 0-30-0? Were you kicked for inactivity? If none of that happened you're not gonna catch a ban. If it did, the system will see that, and it'll tag you.
