Perma ban appeal for a friend who was accused of hacking, but was not.

Dear, Riot League Boards Recently had a friend of mine get permanently banned on league of legends and this is her first time. She was reported for having third party software, but did not. I have no memory of her ever getting banned in the past nor memory of her every having thoughts of using third party software. I know i'm going off of memory and no hard facts here, but if having a clean record until now is good enough I'm sure there is something they can do right?

I'd like to know if there is anyway to get her ban lifted because this is an unjustified ban. I'm not sure if this helps, but the person also has a PBE account which means that the account was clean, until now. If there is anything more that I need to prove/ lift a ban from an innocent summoner than please tell me.

Thank you.

  1. She's not innocent, riot doesn't ban people without actual proof. They found something in the background of her client or play etc..

  2. You're not gonna get any brownie points, stop chasing e-girls.

While I don't have the link handy, I think there were some problems with Razer heatmaps before - Just to be safe I'd recommend disabling the heatmap feature for League of Legends. If I remember right, Riot's stance is that it provides data about games/gameplay that is not readily available to people through the client, and as such is not permissible (just as jungle timers were before they were implemented, and why other programs are disallowed).

If this is the case, you may want to have her submit a support ticket detailing the Razer companion programs she actively uses, and that way Riot can tell her if one of them in particular got her banned. She may have a chance at an unban if it was a mistake due to similar but allowed programs being flagged, but it's not likely.

Regardless, her course takes her to the Support website and a ticket. Best of luck!
