Perma ban appeal for a friend who was accused of hacking, but was not.

Dear, Riot League Boards Recently had a friend of mine get permanently banned on league of legends and this is her first time. She was reported for having third party software,but did not. I have no memory of her ever getting banned in the past nor memory of her every having thoughts of using third party software. I know i'm going off of memory and no hard facts here, but if having a clean record until now is good enough I'm sure there is something they can do right?

     I&#039;d like to know if there is anyway to get her ban lifted because this is an unjustified ban. I&#039;m not sure if this helps, but the person also has a PBE account which means that the account was clean, until now. If there is anything more that I need to prove/ lift a ban from an innocent summoner than please tell me.

She's not innocent, riot doesn't ban people without actual proof. They found something in the background of her client or play etc..

Sorry, but not an E-Girl. A friend of mine in real life.

Besides that, I'm not sure what the client would be getting, what kind of third party programs? Would a Razor Keyboard with macros count as an unauthorized third party program? Can you give me more of an in depth talk rather then a list. Please. Thank you. I'm trying to pull up some evidence but it's hard to do that on the internet. Sorry.

Yes a razor keyboard with macros would count as an unauthorized program. If it is a text macro probably not, but anything combo/skill related is unauthorized. Like a nunu qsmite macro or a lee sin ward hop macro is unauthorized.

While I don't have the link handy, I think there were some problems with Razer heatmaps before - Just to be safe I'd recommend disabling the heatmap feature for League of Legends. If I remember right, Riot's stance is that it provides data about games/gameplay that is not readily available to people through the client, and as such is not permissible (just as jungle timers were before they were implemented, and why other programs are disallowed).

If this is the case, you may want to have her submit a support ticket detailing the Razer companion programs she actively uses, and that way Riot can tell her if one of them in particular got her banned. She may have a chance at an unban if it was a mistake due to similar but allowed programs being flagged, but it's not likely.

Regardless, her course takes her to the Support website and a ticket. Best of luck!

There's a lot of things, and most of them aren't things that will allow her to get unbanned. The only way she could get unbanned is if it was a mistake flag - as in the ban was issued based on a program that looked bad, but a human can identify as not bad.

We don't actually really know. Riot is (rightfully) loathe to reveal exact what their system is looking for, as announcing that information could lead scripters and bot programmers to find ways to circumvent the system.

There are things we suspect might occasionally qualify, but no one can really say with any confidence.

Your best bet is to contact Riot Support directly. They will double check their data but, unfortunately for your friend, if Riot's system is turning up a positive indication of third-party software or data interference there isn't much you or she can do.
