Unethical punishing system

To give people a chat restriction in game is so unethical because you won't be able to make a plan with your team and in a team game that is very important but I guess in Riots mind it isn't, they probably think it's amazing to punish someone and literally make them unable to talk to people in their game and make a plan or a suggestion, god, I just got mine done and now I have one because of your stupid automated punishing system, I never knew that telling the enemy team to report someone for feeding is considering being toxic, never will I spend money on a game that I get punished on for telling a team to report someone, grats riot, you have an awesome unethical system. You made the behavior in 280k people go up and that isn't a lot, by punishing people like this, that will never change. God, why, why in one game I flame I get a 25 Chat restriction because I couldn't handle the feeders, so stupid. Actually review the chat logs before having your stupid system punish someone. Why do this to people who have played your game for hours on end grinding and grinding, people that have spent money on this game. Your player support should be fixed and should have more options btw.[zombie-brand-mindblown]

If you can't use chat the right way, you don't need to be using it. Pings are more than enough for most communication needs, and when it's not, that's why chat restrictions still allow you several messages.

What do you mean? I clearly said that I told the enemy team to report me, I was the one being harassed and I was the one punished. That is totally the right way to do things. Pings dont make a strategy right whatsoever, you can't say, I will go here ping if you only ping will they know what you will do?

If you are being harassed, then mute and report them. You are responsible for your own behavior and will be held accountable for it. And yes, asking players to mass report someone is harassment and is a punishable offense. Punishment is calculated per match, not per report, so it does no good to get more reports anyway. All it does is cause more problems.

So doing what everyone normally does, telling the team they should report a toxic player is considered harassment? that would make 0 sense considering I am always being harassed and their system never see's that.

If they were actually harassing you (which chat logs should show whether the accusations are true or false) that's just a lame rule.

It's like someone is robbing a bank and saying "call the cops" is illegal... what???

Now, if nobody was robbing the bank and you say "call the cops someone's robbing the bank," that should be and is illegal.

That should be the distinction in league too.

Inb4 "Well it only matters that 1 person calls the cops, so if only you call the cops it's the same thing so you don't need to tell other people to call the cops."

You have to remember though, if someone is robbing the bank there are witnesses, cameras, etc. Whereas when someone is asking to report someone, the enemy team specifically, doesnt have any proof, and if there was (like if they are feeding/being toxic in chat) there is no reason to actually ask for reports since it should be obvious to report said person. As for your last sentence, its just like with this game. There is no reason to keep calling the police especially if they are on their way, its not going to make them come faster, and if anything will just clog up the police line for people who need help that didnt get a response from the police yet. Just like reports there is no reason to ask others to report someone who is obviously breaking the rules. its not going to make them get punished faster.

Yes, if I was on the enemy team I wouldn't report if I don't see it happening. but some things we do see happening. AFKs. Int feeders. For example.

But telling your own team to report a bully is more of a reminder, and they do see the chat. Riot also gets the chat logs to show whether the accusation is real or not.

The difference is that if there's a crisis, more than 1 person will call the cops. It's very normal to yell "call the cops" and tell everyone to call the cops when you see a real crisis going on.

Also, the tribunal does show how many reports someone gets in a game, and it may actually affect judgings.

Indeed, chat in team game is very important, so don't do things that'll prevent you from using it.

I will never ever tell the enemy team that someone went afk/is being toxic/etc because that totally doesn't ruin the game.

95% of League players are butthurt retards that use the report system whenever their feelings are hurt like they really matter and need to learn to just deal it with, just like in real life.
