My support says wards are an ADC item

During this game, I was ADC and my support kept insulting me for my performance as well as mocked me for my build. I requested more wards placed on our side to no avail.

End game chat goes like this after we lost of course:

Me: But you don't have any warding item on you Support: ... Me: In 39 minutes, you never bought one Support: WArding Totem Me: That's not enough Support: Its ward isn't it? Me: It is Support: Their sup has no ward Support: Ward is not a sup item it is an adc item Me: He does Me: Eye of the Oasis is Me: ADC's should prioritize damage dealing items for their gold allotment Me: Whereas supports should focus on supportive items such as wards Support: Wards do no damage. Me: It's helpful in the long run with vision Support left the room.

This triggers me. I just wanted to share.

As a support main this triggers me deeply

This causes me actual pain to read

Wards. Win. Games.

They did a little study on this before. In the higher ranked tiers like diamond and plat (and gold), supports are the ones that ward THE MOST. Adcs should get the blue ward, supports should get sightstone and then start taking out enemy wards. EVERYONE should ward, but the support should be the one warding the most.

You get a ward! And you get a ward! Everyone look under your chairs, you ALL SHOULD UPGRADE YOUR TRINKET AND SUPPORTS SHOULD HAVE A SIGHTSTONE ITEM AFTER THEIR FIRST OR SECOND BACK BECAUSE VISION IS CRITICAL

A support should buy a sightstone at the very least, but you better be using your warding trinket (which is free, btw) and upgrading it ASAP and using it as optimally as possible.

And buy the occasional pink ward. That's everyone's job, not the support's.

I should add that I did upgrade my trinket to Farsight as well as had my one pink ward constantly on the map during that game. I was conflicted on whether to buy a sightstone myself but ultimately decided against it.

It was just bad.
