Is this community rife with SJW like behaivors? Stronger punishment systems are NOT needed.

First off I want to say riot games coddles its player base WAY to much with their tattle-tail system. It seems as though they are far more focused on protecting emotions then rewarding hard SKILL. This is a fact, with 6 different ways to report based on emotion and very few ways to reward skill they have failed at every level of play, and created an environment on par with an SJW "safe space" I can NOT be the only one who sees this.

The parallels between SJW behaviors and the behaviors that I see in this game on a daily basis are disturbingly similar. Have you read the threads in this forum?, have you read the comments on surrender at 20 or any league forum for that matter? Have you seen the way people after a game will report for any slight real or imagined?

Riots coddling has created an environment of, Over emotional kids and beta men, that have zero right to play in a competitive environment. These people never take responsibility for their own actions, get hurt by words, and believe everything in this game should be PC. You can not at anytime even suggjust that a player do something different, because then you risk being ban for "harassment" You can not do anything different in ranked without it first being approved by your cultist like teammates, for risk of being ban for unsportsmen like conduct, this includes building a non meta item, or choosing an off meta champion.

The idea for this post came from my experiences looking threw this forum and the surrender @ 20 comment section, where people are demanding more and more censorship, and increasingly totalitarian punishment systems, to protect their petty feelings.

This is a mistake people, we do not need stronger punishment systems in this game, riot already gives people way to much power to control others based on emotion, giving these people more power is a recipe for disaster. If these kids and soft men continue to be coddled this community will become worse and worse. Because of the SJW like behavior this community is seen as the worst on the internet.

To the over emotnial kids/soft-men I say this. The mute feature exists for a reason, use it. If you get triggered by words mute all, with the new alt to ping system you don't have to use chat at all anymore. Grow a spine, do you're job leave your feelings elsewhere, they have no place in a competitive environment. This is ** NOT** a safe space.

I think this is a little contradictory, don't you? You're saying "your emotions mean nothing" but it's because of your emotions that you created this thread in the first place. Sure, in a perfect world, everyone would be cool, calculating robots with nothing more to say than relevant info in game. But we are human and emotions mean something. Though I still long for a world filled with robots. <3

I would agree that the punishment system currently in place seems to do the job pretty well. But to say that you shouldn't ever report someone based on emotion is going a little far. I'd be upset if someone fed mid lane 20 kills in the first half of the game, which would lead to me reporting them. If false reports based on emotion is your concern, you can always submit a ticket to player support and have them manually review your punishment. Though, they aren't very common.

Once you have to work in a team environment with other live human beings, I think you'll find they don't respond well to hateful or aggressive words. This goes for most folks in the real world. You say that if words upset someone they should use the mute feature, but that goes for you too. If you want to go on yourself and try to hard carry every game, feel free, but don't drag the other people down with you when you start getting mad.

You mistake being annoyed for being offended. Having some random on the internet give you shit for every little mistake is like having a yappy dog in the room while playing.

Riot removes yappy dogs.

It never ceases to amaze me, every time someone gets banned, they blame it on Milinals and their "SJW mindset". What happened to treating people with respect? We are well aware the mute button exists, that doesn't mean you get the right to say whatever you want.

Tell you what, next time you are at work and someone screws up, even a little bit, blow up at them. Just go all out calling them bad, racial/homophobic slurs, tell them to kill themselves. Tell me how long you last at that job. Grow the fuck up, if you can't do that, go back to XBox Live, they'll gladly take that shit over there.

The OP is correct, Riot games is HEAVILY leftist/feminist.... which is bad. However the intelligent man will respond with; Who cares.

I play League of Legends to play League of Legends and if Riot likes having an ultra-draconian disciplinary system, so be it.... they're a private entity and it is well within their rights to establish whatever type of authoritarian hierarchy as they desire. If you dislike then you can voice your concerns but you cannot dictate to them how they should run their business.

It's really not that complicated.

So much as critizeising a teammate for ANYTHING even in a respectful manner will get you ban or restricted for harassment, saying anything that may offend anyone will get you ban for harassment. Kids are insanely thin-skinned in this game to the point of insanity. This post is mostly in regards to the people who come here trying to justify feeding in revenge or throwing tantrums in chat because someone hurt their poor little feelings with their crittizsim. Its disgusting that this is allowed in a competitive game. Saying anything to anyone that may offend someone will get you ban in this community. its pathetic, that this is not only allowed to continue but is ENCORAGED. The mature thing to do is mute all and not even get drawn into it.

You and people in this topic seem to believe I respond to these people, I do not, i state my piece, and I then mute all and use pings to communicate(the new alt to ping timers system is wonderful for this)

I and most don't believe this proof it and talk please

You are so incredibly pitiful. My sides hurt from laughing.

Ya I posted a post above of a guy complaining about it. Whether you believe it or not is up to you I guess. But in most of the cases I have seen where people complained about this. Their behavior and language was wayyy out of line in multiple ways. I think all those kind of bans ive read were justified even if they didn't get a warning.

Post a link eh ??

I don't approve of toxic behavior to be honest, but riots ban hammer is over the top now, I'm getting bans for asking people to hug tower and listen to pings, like what the heck.....

This is a mistake people, we do not need stronger punishment systems in this game, riot already gives people way to much power to control others based on emotion,

I believe your wrong!

What is your real complaint?

If it is just emotion then you fall in that category convince me why Your different . If you can give me a reason why your emotion is much more important then the Rest of us then lets talk.

So, My Question is: Why do you think ..your comment feel free to politely explain this to me like I'm stupid K ?

This is your statement: "Riots coddling has created an environment of, Over emotional kids and beta men, that have zero right to play in a competitive environment."

Last thing is I see a grain of truth in what you say, Care how you explain if you can...."K"

COD, Battlefield, Minecraft, PewDiePie, FilthyFrank, FNAF, MLP, Undertale and Homestuck have better fans than League of Legends

OP Just because there is a mute button does not give you the right to say anything you want.

Being verbally abusive or negatively critical is not "adult behavior" it is more closly related that of a immature child throwing temper tantrum

it does not matter is you are the most competitive person in the world

People seem to think saying "their competitive " is a acceptable excuse for acting like a negative verbally abusive uncivilized player .

The truth is

Its not the game riot or other players fault ( even the ones intentionally doing something wrong)

If some players are emotionally unstable and lack , anger management skill and let a mere video game change their emotional state and choose to break Riots rules or choose to react to something they don't like in game whether or not its a legitimate complaint .

Its also not Riot's problem id some players have no self control to stop themselves form being verbally abusive in chat or reacting to someone being verbally abusive in chat

There is to many SJW's in this community and i also believe Riot's way of punishing people is too damn much and time consuming. What happened with a game being a game? I stand with you OP, FUCK THESE CENCORING ASS BITCHES. Freedom of speech fellas, League of Legends are scared of us alphas!

I don't think these people should be able to get accounts removed over words on the internet.

What people ? You can't really hurt someone over the internet as easily as words....It depends on the words and the actions or those typing such,

don't think anyone who is offended or triggered by the smallest thing, should be allowed to ruin the game for people who are actuly trying.

I don't think the stronger punishments demanded by these

I can almost agree with you here, however it is true that if a child get smacked while reaching for a live stove or fire they learn not to do this. Basic stuff so why not here?

I don't think the stronger punishments demanded by these weak forever children should be considered at all.

I think that the majority of people don't want to here kids complaining, so we have a difference here. If a Child goes after a stove you slap their hand, if they do it 2 times,,,well, we should talk about much harsher punishments.

When you are in a ranked game you're focus should be the game not the words someone is saying, if you are underperforming and someone calls you out on it, you should take it in kind, and continue playing and possibly improving, insteed of instantly screaming TROLL IS SAYING MEAN THINGZ TO ME GUYZZZZ REPORT. or throwing tantrums in chat.

Mostly agree, but unless you call it out in a nice way it is only going to tilt them.

Riots report system is way to coddling to these over emotnail types with 6 ways to report based on emotion.

I disagree again if their weren't bullies trying to have their own way this one comment is obsolete .

I'm not saying legit trolls should not be punished.

True, but if you make some one feel bad for your own self then punish away!

If you a re triggered by words mute all and focus.

And here that is: if you want to make someone feel bad you will, Mute Is Not there so A-holes can say what they want. IT is there for people who can't keep their temper under control or just block the abusive Jerks around...

And, There are so many on this board it doesn't represent the majority of people who would naturally dislike the BS put up on most of the links !

In closing I'll tell you I can be an Asshole supreme but I never do it in game and maybe we can actually talk about this is stead of Me getting a bunch of BS.

Nothing Yet against you friend but consider one more point...9 of 10 or more people will never have the nerve I do to say this....I don't care what the boards say ...Most people don't want to hear nasty things in game~!
