Chat restriction detector broken in lower elos

I'm Silver 2, on EUNE This is the 2nd time I got chat restricted this week

I'll admit first time I was toxic, I said a lot of "mean" things and such, but the second time I said nothing The thing is that in silver and bronze people report for everything and having a previous ban I was probably treated as a big toxic player ( which I kinda am )

So yeah I got another ban and now I'm scared that my account may permanently get banned... As riot puts it "Competitive BS-ing is fine, hate speech ? not much" and the only thing I said is " lee you played bad " and " panth don't go full AD you will be useless in late game"

Did I really deserve the ban ?

There Is no point in talking on servers like EUNE, EUW or China nor in super low leagues and divisions. Communicate with pings

EUNE is the worst server when it comes to the community, but all my friends play there so I don't want to transfer

There is no reason for a EUNE player to communicate something like that in solo queue. EUNE players cannot reasonably expect other EUNE players to take such a suggestion in a reasonable or constructive way nor can they expect people to achieve anything through such communication on a low tier server. You ping if you have to and people will play their champions as best they know how. If such things are appropriate and the players don't understand this and can't excecute on such things they have bigger problems to work on. Even would be valuable information is just noise.

I don't think that's the word for it. But the field is dramatically weaker even than EUW or NA let alone the Ionia server in China or KR. Maybe in a few seasons as EUNE evolves and refines itself saying things beyond what can be expressed in pings will be more reasonable.

EUNE has been like this for years, there should be a RIOT employee that would go to different servers and play a ranked ( in low elos ) just to "experience" the magic of EUNE, he would probably get chat restricted withing days

You don't need to whine or flame or otherwise do chat restrict able things. Stronger, more emotionally and mentally disciplined people would express themselves in some better way on any server. And it isn't a hard thing to do. There is no pressure to whine or moan. EUNE has this is a cultural problem, it is petty and unremarkable. Much like many NA players have an emphasis on convenience and instant gratification or Koreans have questions of self worth if they cannot achieve excellence.

For refusing to communicate with the team. On EUNE talking in chat is a poor attempt to communicate outside of the pregame lobby and maybe typing summoner spells

Really can't bother enough to do that, I know it can't be fixed and all I write here means nothing, I just wanted to say how, in my opinion, ban detection is really unfair for lower elos ( especially in EUNE where no one speaks English and everyone flames )

I'm not inclined to believe you only had one or two lines of chat directed toward other players. But you've had two penalties in one week. You should understand the workings of the punishment system.

When you get banned once you are likely to get banned again for a thing that's not so bad because they treat you as a toxic player

First ban I got I was toxic, hell I was really really toxic but after the ban I stopped raging and calling names ( that was my first ban / restriction and I was afraid I'll get banned ) But the second ban / restriction is only because 2 premades reported the rest of us and I was already restricted 2 days ago so system "thought" I flamed like before ( which I did not )

4 reports don't count more than 1 report. A report is a boolean flag. If a player is reported, that game is reviewed.

Well it is really all in the way you say it. For example if someone is like wow you are playing pretty badly this round, it hurts, but its true. If someone is like Wow you suck morg you cant land a single q though, then its like WTF IVE LANDING Q's THIS WHOLE GAME, YOU JUST PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR OWN LANE AND LEAVE ME ALONE YAS SHUT UP! So ya, all about presentation lol.

To repeat what was said near the beginning of the thread, the redundancy lies in the lack of logs. There's no purpose to this thread if it's purely "he/she said", which is already the case, even with the "logs", since it's a supposed copy and paste, rather than an actual file of the chat that took place.

If you truly believe yourself into the wrong, just form a ticket. That's all there is to it.

I fail to see how this is the point you're reaching. Unless you somehow have inside statistical info on ban/punish rates on all regions and how they're handled... so...

Is it a normal thing on NA to say " I troll " or " Free kills top " only because he got autofilled as well? Or getting flamed for not understanding what the other players are saying because they speak Czech?

I report players nearly every game I'm in, because I have to. I honestly hate the thought of playing Solo/Duo Ranked without a person to duo with.

Toxic players are so common for me, there are times where it's impossible to tell whether someone is being genuinely nice, or is using it as a facade to hide the fact that they are generally the player that will afk/int feed/troll/harass any one particular person or the whole team. I have barely any faith in the community that surmises most of my elo, and they're the cause of it.

I apologize to those who are genuinely nice and try to avoid falling into such behavior. But, it's just too much, most of the time.

Is that a good enough answer for you?

The fact that you had to start off by asking me how it is over here, sort of has me wondering why you're still making assumptions. I've run into players who either only speak one language (non-English), or refuse to speak English. It's not as common as it use to be, but it still happens.

My point was that you shouldn't make a statistical claim without actual statistics. It becomes an empty claim.

I think in both cases it's a rather pointless remark. An LCS caster could say that in order to compare Faker's performance to Faker's previous games but I don't think that it adds anything as an analysis or anything lol.

Not every person is held to the same standard. casters have a little prestige and context can be different. If someone else decided you are a flamer than that's what you are, to them. Riot and their computer have more prestige than some random EUNE player with a grievance.

It is reasonable to think that you as a repeat offender and a miserable person with a lot of grievances to both your server and riot are just flaming, probably intimidated by someone you think your better than anything else. Besides, who are you to advise the lee? It isn't your place.

One of the reasons that toxicity is called toxicity is because it spreads, creating more unpleasant interactions.

I don't want to share a chat room with people who are fighting, I don't care who started it. It's just like I don't want my neighbors to have a shouting match at 3 AM, I don't care who started it.

Assuming that someone is a "miserable person" based on their chat logs in a video game is pretty toxic IMO. I agree he probably flamed, and should just not type in chat but...I disagree with analyzing someone's personality based on one behavior.

This whole forum is full of passive-aggressive, judgemental, self-righteous people like you. I am so tired of reading posts like this. People are people. You aren't perfect either. Get off your high horse and stop judging others.

Actually, I never make assumptions and I don't analyze his personality. I analyze his mood in this context and it is exactly what he shows. Personally, I don't do nor endorse passive aggression nor judgemental. I am also not self righteous nor self important. I never do high horse things and you misread me. I value humility and you should learn to as well. It's super helpful for these things ;)
