My Unban Appeal

Hi... sorry. I.. I can't explain. I feel like a pile of useless shit. I don't know what to say, or how to say it. I screwed up this time... for good. It all started when I logged into my account and grinded my way to level thirty. I didn't know anything about the game and in the first 10 games I played I was flamed, with a positive mindset I moved on, gaining general skill in the game and knowledge of things. And I never thouroughly understood why the players flamed me, I was new and not even good at the game yet I moved on, happily. I never thought I'd do this to myself. I noticed the signs, I just didn't change. And I know you've heard the sobby bullshit stories, and I realize this is my own fault. Not anyone elses. And sure, maybe that Jinx was the toxic one initially, maybe that Nautilus shouldn't of said anything, but I'm the one that retaliated instead of just muting. And I think that's where it all went wrong. I want to say to Riot, to the community, to anyone. Don't ever do what I did.

Should I be unbanned? Not under any terms of service, I'm scared. Really scared, and I would love to get into other games, but this game is fun and this game is what I love to play. And when I go to Twitch(.tv) and all I see is "League of Legends" with 56,000 viewers I cannot help but realize that will not ever be me again, watching the LCS happy and ready to see who wins. Because in all honesty, playing the game is why anyone gets involved with anything to do with the game (LCS, etc.). The game is meant to be played. League of Legends was my daily routine, come home, have a snack, do some homework, play league, workout, eat dinner, league. Regarding if it was healthy or not, well, thats a whole new story. But you get the idea, I revolved around league of legends, and when I logged on to see my chat logs and the image layed before me, I'm not going to lie, I shed tears of sadness. Should I be unbanned, thats the question.

I know you've heard it. I noticed the signs, and I always told myself, "just mute them.". But that was not enough for me I had to make them suffer, to punish them. For no reason either. Just because I'm angry doesn't mean I should've acted upon it. I'm going to post the chat logs that were triggered by the Tribunal to get me banned, I'll point out the areas in which I really screwed myself over and try to explain that my mindset is not to mute, but it should be.

Yep. I would like to explain firstly, that this game, in my personal opinion, was not worthy of a ban regardless of the one thing that I think I said that was over the line. Alistar and Jinx ran into the bot lane together, duo queued. Both were foriegn and didn't speak English primarily. I didn't know how or what to say when I ran to bot and picked a kill up making the lane smoother for Jinx. I didn't know what to say because she replied with "Don't take my kills." ~ something along the lines of that. And it was irritating beacuse I know I hadn't done anything wrong all I did was go the the lane, help them out, did ALL the damage, and got the kill. Maybe the "and you crying" section due to the fact that she was complaining STILL even when I explained why I got the kill.

I want to explain in a whole that me going into /ALL chat and explaining the situation to my enemy wasn't the brightest of choices, but It was what I did so I guess I deserve a chat ban at most for that. I was just saying that my teamates (Jinx/Ali) were flaming me but then doing the same shit that they were flaming me for.

Here it is, the area where I, as a person, really screwed the pooch. > holy fucking shit jinx > kill yourself > i take it back > that stoo easy That right there is me being infuriated with Jinx and how she and Alistar reacted towards anything I said. I think I thourghouly read through my chat log and can concur that this is worth a ~25 game chat ban. But with the current system that's not possible.

I KNOW! Trust me, I KNOW! I know that I had forewarnings before my actions, but I didn't think about them. I don't know what to say, I'M SURE YOU'VE HEARD IT ALL. Because thats the truth, the system is set in place to punish players who cannot keep ahold of themselves. But I think you, Riot Games, need to put in a function that either is a complete chat ban, cannot see, cannot type, or a permanent ban. Permanent ban should be associated with all of the following: Intentional Feeding, Refusing to Comply With Team, Working With the Enemy Team, and Trolling (2 people in mid etc.). But chat ban should be associated with players like myself, those who can admit that their actions were forewarned, but understand they stepped out of line, so anything that has to do with: Toxicity, Verbal Abuse, Offensive Chat Language, etc.

In Conclusion My punishment is deserved in way because I was warned about my actions but did not comply. But also a permanent ban should be revoked due to the fact that what I did can be prevented completely by banning me from speaking in the game for the next X amount of games.

I'm willing to take a ban of 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 1 month, even 2 months. But not permanent. I'm overjoyingly willing to take a permanent chat ban that removes the functionality of chat for me and I can only ping. That would be amazing. Plus it would starighten my attitude in other games. Sorry League of Legends community, and sorry Riot. I love both of you, regardless of what I say or how I act. Good day, good night, and have a goddamn amazing weekend.

Riot generally doesn't revert any bans unfortunately. If you really want to keep playing, you're going to have to make a new account, and start off with a brand new mindset. These bans happen for a reason, and unfortunately you were unable to change after any previous warnings or restrictions. I wish you the best, and I hope you continue playing if you love this game, and I hope this helps you become a more positive influence on the community at large.

When you say: "I noticed the signs, I just didn't change." i take it you were ban before? so why do you think you need more Temp bans if you dont learn from them? its sad that the only way you did see the errors of your ways is from a Perma ban, but thats kind of the point. The last straw if you will. If you truly did change for the better you are more than welcome to make a new account and start over. Just know that if you are lying and continue to act like this, the cycle will just continue and you will only get ban much quicker!

Wont happen buddy. I spoke with a Riot employee several times over a one month span about getting an old account unbanned. I even had a track record of positive behavior on my alt account (Which Riot encouraged me to make). I was positive for about a full year and even went to some riot events to get more involved in the community. Pretty much got told "Lyte wont let us unban any account under any circumstances. It's great to see you have reformed and are enjoying the community. hope you can continue doing well with the people you meet"

You will need to make a new account and truely reform if you want to play the game.

Ali I suggest you keep quiet unless you want reported [or get] banned because im already reporting you and your fucking butt buddy

[Insert Charlton Heston laughing gif] I have no sympathy for you; You threatened others with reports and bans feeling as if you had complete impunity. You were unbelievably toxic and were given ample warnings that your behavior was unacceptable. I was perma-banned in early S2 and I am using a new account now, I have not gotten into trouble because I learned from my experience to NOT be toxic. I hope you learned from your experience as well because... you WILL be perma-banned again if your behavior continues to be that bad.

I was once like you..... but then I took a perma-ban to the face... I learned my lesson but you clearly did not;

The fact that I didn't change is what I do understand. I love this game. But at the age of 15 I don't have money to invest to build my account back up to it's previous point...

I'm sorry about your account. Although it may be lost, this doesn't mean your League adventure is over. For one, the EXP to 30 was halved, making the grind less....terrible. Hopefully you take this as a learning experience, and become a positive player.
