I would appreciate if someone can help me to understand how this thing works since Im too dumb to understand this 200 IQ system . So I just got 14-day banned for being &quot;toxic&quot; . Ive been like that since season 5 , still nothing happened to my account till now . My question is : what is chat restrict for ? Ive never been chat restricted and I feel like this should be my punishment instead of getting banned first cause I never int or afk , just using chat a little bit too much . Funny thing is that I had in my games a lot of inters , like legit inters (Nunu/Singed with ghost/cleanse running around the map diving at level 1 and stuff) , you know that type of game that everyone wants to end as fast as possible cause its no fun so I checked their opgg and they are still PLAYING LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED . If you int no one can stop you but if you flame everyone can mute you BUT STILL IM THE ONE GETTING BANNED . After all is not that bad I guess cause I know Riot Games is a good company , they sure know what they are doing and I know that this ban is for my own good :) . THANKS RIOT FOR REFORMING ME <3 <3 <3 .

If you've never been punished until now, your behavior has changed, whether you like to admit it or not. You're letting the game get to you, and you don't even realize that you've become toxic.

The 2 week ban means you've done something so extremely bad you shouldn't need a warning - racism, encouraging suicide, etc.

Provide your chat logs and I'm 99.9% certain I can assist you. An immediately 14-day ban means you probably violated a zero tolerance policy, such as using hate speech or encouraging self-harm.

Zero punishment behavior skips chat restriction. Those are invitation to self-harm (shit like "kys") and slurs. Also, inting is another way to get an insta-14-day ban. Other than that, you receive normal punishment (10-game and 25-game chat restriction). If you want, send a support ticket for the inters.
